Update: Aldi's cashiers are timed & have to ring up so many items per hour/shift. Unload all your heavy items 1st, have your payment ready, & move to the packing area to bag your groceries. Boxes are free, so grab the empty boxes if you don't have bags. Original Post: There were some of the normal good deals, but nothing spectacular. There were no really great discounts on after Christmas items, or anything actually. And although Aldi is a German owned store (as is Trader Joe's, owned by the other brother), it seems they would sell items the local customers would want. There were no New Year's foods on display or sale. The store still has a lot of good bargains. The cashier seemed rushed, and was tossing my groceries into the cart. She tossed a head of cabbage onto a pizza, and was putting the groceries into the cart haphazardly.

Good selection and decent prices. What I don't like is when I take my elderly mom to shop and it's just 7 o clock, and they are using the floor scrubber. If they close at 8, that is when they should do their cleaning, not when customers are still trying to shop. I'm sure some day an elderly person will slip and fall on the slippery floor they are cleaning too early and maybe then they will clean their store after hours, not when people are trying to shop.

I love shopping at Aldi's! They have great produce, variety of meat and fish. The Aldi finds aisle is my favorite. They have unique gift items. The breads and bakery items are delicious. If you love sour cream, Aldi has the best. The price of products are very reasonable. Bring your own bags.
