I've lived here for years, this Tuesday I came in and the sweetest clerk was working, I had some trouble with the card and she was so patient with me and talked with me while everything got sorted. When you get my age most people treat you like you don't matter but this young lady was helpful, I'm sure she wont remember me coming in but her kindness made my week. I cant recall her name to compliment her to the big boss but she has the prettiest blue eyes, reminded me of my wife before the cataracts . On behalf of others like me, I also want to thank her for keeping her mask on, it's dangerous times for us old folks and these selfish people in this old town just make it harder.

Sandy at the MVPO has, BY FAR, the WORST customer service of anyone I have ever encountered. Absolutely ZERO manners, and was downright rude to me, and the customers in front of me. And come to find out, this is the same woman that was rude to my gf weeks before. How this woman has a job doing anything for the general public absolutely boggles my mind. “Hey PMG, this one needs a review.” EDIT: was told the package would arrive on the 21st. It arrived on the 29th. And the box was torn nearly to shreds. This is the absolute last time I will be sending ANYTHING through the USPS. I will only be using UPS and FedEx from now on. I suggest you do the same.

Very friendly and helpful. Never any problems with my mail. Don't have a regular mailbox where we live on top of the mountain so all mail goes here.

I was told not to drop off my prepaid packages anymore at the back door because the worker said she was too busy! I'm sorry isn't taking packages in your job? I was told any prepaid packages could be dropped off at the back door, it even has bulk drop off hours on the website. Too busy for mail, thats hilarious! Maybe she needs a different job

These kind people saved me! Sandy took time to look up my incoming shipments that were to be forwarded away due to MY error. She was able to find everything I needed. Additionally, she will convey updates to our carrier regarding future packages. This ‘Golden Rule’ service is greatly appreciated and will long be remembered! Thank you, Maggie Valley Post Office!!

The same thing happened to me as someone else mentioned. I called and asked them to hold a package because I didnt want it left on my porch while I was at work all day since the mail typically runs 30 mins after I leave my house. I was told that it wasn't a problem and that they would hold it for me. Two hours later i drive to the other end of Maggie to pick up my packages to be told that delivery driver forgot to leave it. What a waste of time and gas. My only other experience was pleasant and they helped me understand what I needed to do to ship a package to Canada but I was not pleased with my most recent experience

By far the best post office. Small and minimal foot traffic. Employees are very friendly and helpful. Have been using this post office for many years, nice walking in to such friendly employees that take time to know you as a person, not just a customer!

Spoke with Kim at 7:38 am on Saturday April 6th to hold a package I needed and I will pick.up at 11:30am. Needed the package before I went out of town and couldn't wait till 4pm when the mail arrived. Do you think she could follow simple instructions ot a request, nope, went out for delivery at 10:30. This is why you should always use ANYONE OTHER than the USPS. Incompetent people. This is why you are always loosing.money. Will use someone else in the future. Thanks for nothing.
