This is not McDonald's or KFC.... It's not Food Lion..... But its a little of both. Mom and Pop type of business with some grocery and a grill with a full menu. The food is awesome! I've been going there for years. They have some of the best burgers I've ever eaten! And the chicken .... I'm getting hungry just talking about it.

I remember when burgers here were delicious. I know the owners changed years ago. That should have been the only thing that changed. Simple things like a cheeseburger is not the same now. I came home one day excited to go to Red and White for a cheeseburger. I WAS AND STILL IS so disappointed with the food there. I am looking for somewhere else in Oxford to get that home cooking that is not a franchise establishment.

I like this store because Greta is one of the best cooks I know. Charlie is a nice guy also. I think if you have no money and you hungry.. they will feed you freely.

Had not stopped here since I was a kid but glad that I did.Forgot how good their cheeseburgers etc.,are.Fried okra good also.

Charlie and the girls are the only place I want a hotdog lunchtime and if you're coming in from the county at 7am, you can get breakfast you wanna eat before a big day. If you want to get into the bones of Oxford, NC then you MUST get a sexy hotdog all the way at Charlie's and put some hot sauce on it.
