The sign out front says 3.77 for diesel but it’s really 3.99 a gallon that’s false advertisement

Why did the gas prices jump from 2.70 a gallon to 2.97 a gallon on all 3 grades,after AAA and Gas Buddy said that prices wouldn't rise but 0.15 per gallon max.
