First visit today for my little Sophie. The staff was prompt, kind, caring and friendly to myself and Sophie. Initial visit with vaccines and exam. Everything was explained and Sophie was treated like a Queen. She loved everyone. Thank you Metz Petz!

We take all of our pets here for their annual visits and emergency services. We have 3 dogs and 4 cats. I always feel that they receive the best care. If one of them needs special care, Metz usually gets them in the same day. Our pets have required surgery(spay, neuter, dental) a time or two, and Metz always takes great care of them.

I love Mets pets in Ada and in Lima! I take my cat (Puffy Cakes) to the one in Ada, the doctor is wonderful! she is a lot of fun to talk to, and just loves my cat LOL 🤣💖! she’s a wonderful vet! They are so helpful, their prices are reasonable, they never try to do anything that’s not needed.. They explain everything thoroughly. I just love Jerry the receptionist! She will answer questions for you, or find out the answer for you and call you back! 👍💕. These are just great people all together! I would highly recommend taking your pets there!

*Update* changing my review because of the receptionist. I went in today to weigh and get flea meds for my dog. I had a training collar on my dog (also known as a pinch or prong collar). I was told by the receptionist that he would crush his trachea, even though I have used them for years in training dogs, and even discussed this exact topic with the vet in the office during our last visit to make sure I was still up to date on the safety of the training tool. I replayed that I have the training collar on to keep that from happening. She ignored me. Then she acted like my dog was aggressive when the other dog showed a lack of socialization sign. She kept talking baby talk to my dog, as well. If she is so worried about a dog being aggressive with another dog, She should not have allowed two dogs inside at the same time like that. Or she should have explained to the other couple with their dog to wait in the waiting area until someone could help them before she went back and helped me. I'm all for being careful but be professional was well. I think when we do our one year check up we will find another vet. I love the vets at the office. They are good at their job, take the time to get to know you, and answer any question I have. They also are great with breeds that aren’t as common as other dog breeds. The only thing I do not like about the clinic is the receptionist. I think she means well, but every time I go in, she likes to tell me how to train my puppy even though I keep telling her we will be fine. I used to work with dogs professionally. But she ignores me every time and keeps going with tips that are not even good training tips.

It was a what I believed an emergency on my 9.5 years old German Shepherd as she was bleeding down by vaginal area. I wanted my girl to be diagnosed by Dr. Nathan Metz (her usual Vet). I called and told them I was coming at warp speed. Dr. Metz got her in despite other clients who had appointments (my apologies to them and to Dr. Nathan for putting him behind). Dr. Nathan made medication adjustments along with blood work and psychological work (on me) to help ease my anxiety. As always he took time to explain things when he really didn't have time to. Thank you Metz Petz.

Each member of the Ada staff is kind and empathetic. Doctor Melissa and Doctor Nathan take their time to really get to the bottom of issues on the first visit. They spend the time that is needed for each patient and you never feel like you are being rushed through. I highly recommend.

Love the service and staff! I moved an hour away and still drive to see them. My pets are my babies and I don't just let anyone treat them. The Doctor's are always honest with risks and outcomes regarding health and surgeries. In addition, they always explain options, reasoning, pros and cons ... then they let you make the decision for your family/furbabies. They provide as much guidance/help that you need. Never will I trust another veterinarian facility with my babies.

I wouldn't take my girl anywhere else. Dr. Emily (and quite frankly the entire staff) has been nothing but doting, knowledgeable, and loving towards my pet. I was impressed when I first came to Metz over a year ago and I will recommend it to anyone who has a pet. Dr. Nathan Metz is the fastest nail clipper I have ever met and Dr. Emily makes you feel as if you have the best dog in the world. I love Metz Petz and Savvy does too!
