Service was nice but slow and they didn't check on us during the meal. I ordered a grilled chicken salad with "everything on it". It only had chicken, chopped lettuce, and a few bits of bacon, a small amount of diced tomatoes, and shredded carrots. No cheese or croutons. But oddly had diced pickles in it. I'm pretty sure it was burger toppings and not meant to be a salad. I hear the burgers are good. Just don't get a salad.

The drinks were strong and tasty and the bartender was fantastic, she was very attentive and nice. The mac n' cheese bites and cheese curds were really good. My entree was the ribeye with broccoli and mac and cheese. The broccoli was surprisingly delicious. The steak was pretty good, but could've used some compound butter or something to balance the bitterness from the char, though that could be just me. The mac was just Kraft, so that was a little disappointing. Overall, we really liked the place!

We've eaten in before and it was delicious. Casual dining in a historic building across from what used to be the railroad depot. This time we called our order in and it was a Fri evening and it was ready fairly quick and was smoking hot! Food was cooked perfectly and packaged thoughtfully. Only complaint I had were the fries seemed a bit under done but they were still delicious! They have live music on the weekend I believe. Also kid friendly. Will definitely be going back!

For a bar they have some really good food. Wings r really good, and steak is yummy too. My wife has tried different stuff and said she has liked all her stuff.

The food was served hot and well-seasoned; the beer, ice cold. Our server, Seth was efficient and personable. The atmosphere, very pleasant. So glad we stopped there, would highly recommend!

This is our third visit to this bar, we stop in everytime we visit our daughter in college First time I remember to leave a review I’m happy to say we were waited on by the same Server as before. Jamie is a pleasant surprise lately in customer service. She always has a smile on her face. She remembered what each of us ordered, We had our grandkids with us this time around and they wanted to play pool & darts but we didn’t have change. Jamie walked over and gave them change from her own money. She treats you like your family. She makes you want to come back and feel welcome. The food wasn’t as good as the first two times we came in but that won’t deter us, If Jamie is working it’s enough to make us stay and continue to come back. I recommend the pork chops & stable chips. It’s a beautiful space with a cozy atmosphere. We saw TVs outside and my husband is dying to come back to watch games. If you want comfort food and a relaxing atmosphere The Stable is the place for you.

I've driven past this place MANY times over the years on my way to Oxford, but decided to give it a try during graduation weekend as an alternative to other Oxford/Hamilton restaurants that were packed. I asked our server what they were known for...she said "burgers and wings". So...we ordered chicken wings and burgers for the four of us. The wings were very good... perfectly done (I prefer mine more "done"). Everyone enjoyed their burgers and the Old Bay-seasoned fries that came with them (I never though of using that on fries!). I was told the restaurant had opened and closed a few times over the years with ownership changes...something that can be concerning. No worries here though...this small restaurant, sitting right next to the railroad tracks, with dedicated motorcycle parking spots is clean and updated. The Stable is worth a stop for a burger and wings next time you are passing through Eaton.

The Stable is very eye appealing... We really had high hopes for our experience and it didn't meet those expectations unfortunately. Food was mediocre and a bit overpriced for 'bar food', service wasn't great... We felt rushed and as if they just wanted us in and out the door and by no means was it busy, the server was very impersonal. My husband ordered an Old Fashion and it was served as a muddled/smashed cherry with bourbon, and that's it - maybe some simple training on specialty drinks would help prevent this. The atmosphere is beautiful and seems like a fun place to be! Pool table, music, beautiful bar and a great outside patio area!

My husband and I went there for the first time on 01/01/2021. I got the ribeye and it was probably one of the best steaks I have ever had. I could cut parts of it with my fork and the flavor was great! My husband got a fish sandwich and he said it was very good as well. The waitress was very attentive, as was other employees, who I assume were managers or the owners. It was a little pricey, but we got appetizers, meals and my husband had a couple of double shots of Crown Apple and couple of beers. I also had a drink. It was definitely worth it. Just don't play metal music on the jukebox. They will turn the jukebox down.... hahaha.... We will definitely be back.
