If you haven't been here in awhile....you need to come!! THe fish dinners are Amazing! They have all you can eat fried fish every day and It will put most places to shame in canton. The new chef has completely turned this little restaurant around.

Seven adults, including myself, arrived at aprox. 4:45 pm on Sunday. Their sign said that they were open until 6 pm. We were seated by our server at the first table next to the entrance. We placed our orders and was waiting on our food to come. At 5:10 two gentlemen came in and was told that the kitchen was closing and the 2 men left. A few minutes later another man was told told the same thing, he said the sign says 6, the waitress said there was nothing she could do and he walked out. At 5:15 two ladies walked in and the server told them that they were closed, they asked to speak with the manager. A man came out and said that they close at 5 on Sundays and was very rude to them. In the meantime, our food came. I ordered all you can eat fish, fries, and slaw. the fish was over cooked, flavorless, and when I cut into it oil filled my plate. The fries were cold, greasy, and limp. My wife ordered spaghetti and it was so over cooked it was mushy and the meatballs were cold. Our server was polite and prompt, no complaints there. I have finally given up on this place. Every time we have gone there in the recent past it has gotten worse. It's sad because we have always supported our local businesses. I will not recommend this place to anyone.

I was a little concerned about the pricing, but the portions were very appropriate for the cost. The server was absolutely great! The food was delicious. I never get spaghetti at a restaurant. I just don't like how other people cook it, but I really wanted the chicken parmesan. I actually ate every bit of the spaghetti (took me a while because it was so big, and I only got the half order!). Just really good overall.

Usually I have pretty good service but today me and my friend went to get food at flipside. When we got there they took 40 to get us our food and when they got us our food it was the wrong order. And when we told the waitress she was very rude to us and when we got the recipes back and my friends was wrong and we asked about it very respectfully may I add. But she then yelled at us and saying were we pain in her butt after she got the orders wrong and blamed us.

A destination restaurant, 1/2 mile North of the Stark and Tuscarawas County line. I've been going to the Flipside about 5 years and have never been disappointed. Award winning ribs, excellent BBQ pulled pork, steaks and chops, lots of burgers, creative pasta dishes, several seafood dishes, what's amazing is the many is diverse and it's all done well. Highly recommend, one of Stark County's best family restaurants.
