We went in there to purchase a refrigerator and a microwave, and the older gentleman with white hair and mustache at the appliances section was sadly clueless about any appliances that they sell there. Couldn’t answer a single question. Waited 2 hrs there to speak to Scott the general manager and never came to talk to us. They kept saying, he’s coming, he’s coming. Totally rude! Best Buy will earn our business instead.

We do this due to it being a pet friendly establishment and because of the nice employees. Although the products may be great, I suggest you spend the extra bucks for another company to install your new appliances and flooring. When we bought a new dish washer all seemed fine until under the sink where it was attached to completely flooded the next day and whenever you pull out the drawers to the dish washer the whole dish washer comes out with it! Oh and don’t worry it’s not just that one bad apple! Next we decided to get new flooring because we had very old ceramic tile. The flooring? Beautiful! My walls? Completely scratched up with black streaks from the moving of furniture! Oh and how could I forget about the actual dents in the walls. Now you’d think we would’ve learned by now hey let’s not let them install things, but no. We desperately needed a new washing machine because the panel in the old one was completely fried. So we ordered a new one as soon as we could. Again, nothing wrong with the washer itself, I bet it’s a fantastic washer! I would know if they could even set it up properly to start with. When they came to install it, they took the old one out then put the new one in… then proceeded to tell us “the tube is corroded so we need to get tools to unlatch it”. They then left with our new washer sitting there in the laundry room with the water tubes attached to the pipe but free out on the floor so when we went to turn the water back on, the laundry room flooded. So basically we payed nearly a thousand dollars to get no running water and essentially no washing machine! Oh and reaching out to get someone to fix it? We’ve been calling all day to only be sitting listening to elevator music for no one to answer. And did the worker come back to officially install the washer? Nope! Not even a “oh we will come back tomorrow or Monday”. Just a basically call us to schedule another guy to go do it which could be in a week or two. Can’t wait to not shower for the next 2 weeks!

So, our latest adventure with this Lowe’s has been anything but pleasant. This is Saturday, April 9th. We dropped by the Macedonia Lowe’s store on Tuesday and purchased a new Maytag washer and dryer. They were both in stock and the price seemed OK. Delivery was prompt on Thursday morning. Unfortunately the washing machine did not work. The message was “no water detected, check water supply”. Is it possible that after the delivery man delivered the washing machine and hooked it up, he didn’t turn the water back on? How is that even possible? Unfortunately the off and on valves are located behind the washer and can’t be reached to check. My wife and I are in our 70s and can’t move the washing machine out to check that. So we called Lowe’s. Several times. They kept promising to send somebody out right away and after three calls we’re still waiting. I wonder if we would have had the same problems with Home Depot?
