They are VERY CARELESS about peoples packages. Threw this package on my Apartment stairs and just rolled all the way down and the lady just walked away. Now it’s broken. Thanks Team Ottawa Post Office.

They opened my package to inspect it. Sent it back to me because of incorrect shipping. They intentionally destroyed the item in the box, which was a collectable and is now worthless to myself and the buyer. I ship with UPS only now.

Edit: Not sure what has changed there over the last couple years, but it has been going downhill. They will rarely if ever, deliver packages bigger than medium size. I order stuff online that constantly have to pick up at the post office because they refuse to drop it off at my door. There's absolutely no reason for the lazy service, you're being paid to deliver mail. DO IT. Review will change if changes are made for the better. Maybe start by hiring better post delivery drivers that actually do their job.

Woman who delivers mail decides whether she feels like bringing boxes up to the house or not. Have been getting pink slips on my door lately noting that 'your package was to large to be delivered please pick it up at the post office' and when I arrive at the post office I receive a box that I can hold with one hand. I have to drive 20 minutes to the actual post office to retrieve deliveries anymore. Ridiculous and lazy service.

I've had countless issues with the person who delivers. She picks and chooses when to deliver packages. When she doesn't deliver them her note always says she's came by super early (never is there by 12 oclock) then today we got home and saw a piece of mail laying in our neighbors yard. Luckily we didn't go out of town like we were going to and it didn't blow away because it was my moms medicaid card in an envelope. I've complained numerous times about previous situations but I've had enough. They don't care.

They refuse to deliver any packages to the door. Post master absolutely refuses to do anything about it. They've lost packages before but said that their system said that "it was scanned as delivered" when it never was. Shameful. Update: 06/01/2021 Now they can't even be bothered to properly close the community mailbox. I found it open when I went to check the mail today.

Everyone who works there is lazy an unpleasant. Even our post master. How hard can it be to sort mail? I’ve had a package that has been saying it’s been at the Ottawa post office for a week and they cannot seem to locate it. Hope all the staff is enjoying the free gifts this year!

Multiple occasions of packages and letters sat in front of our garage and destroyed in the rain. Calling does nothing. She dropped stuff off there this morning with rain likely all day. I asked her to put stuff on the porch so it doesn't get rained on and she curtly said "I usually don't set stuff there if it's raining."

They never deliver packages on time. Today, it said "delivery attempted." Our garage door is open, our mailbox & even the parcel boxes on the side of the mailbox are completely empty. The packages are small. There is absolutely no reason why they wouldn't have been able to deliver the packages... other than our freaking lazy carrier. This is pretty much a weekly occurrence. Ottawa, OH post office is horrible.
