First time ordering cupcakes at the powell location for my kid's birthday. Cupcakes tasted horrible, I found green mold on one of the yellow cupcakes and the butter cream icing tasted like rotten eggs. Disappointed!

I love Giant Eagle's app for placing pick up grocery orders. They also offer delivery, though I've never personally managed to get a delivery time slot since they fill up fast! I love that I can look at their weekly ad online and then add that item that's for sale to my cart. I don't have to mark it down, go back to the main page, search it up, and then add it IF I can find that particular item. When looking at your online cart, you can allow a substitute or not per item and even leave a note. I would love to be able to pick a particular product as a substitute, but their app doesn't do that. The app does track location though so if you click the "I'm on my way" option the app seems to know when you've arrived because I get a notification that they see I've arrived and I don't need to call they will be out with my groceries soon. Giant Eagle's app also allows for online use of EBT and p-EBT cards (pandemic related). It allows you to check your balance on the card as well. Such a very nice option. The store inside is clean and, while not organized in my personally preferred method, is sensibly organized. Customer service, whether you shop online or in person, is fabulous and deserves very high praise. Their meat is easily the best I've seen locally UNLESS you go to a specialty butcher shop. They also carry a fairly decent number of vegetarian and vegan options. There are other general grocery stores that have more vegan and vegetarian things, but Giant Eagle has enough that you will have options.

A bit pricey. They are in the midst of remodeling at time but that is being done at night. Store is clean and we'll stocked for the most part.

Store is undergoing a renovation to flip it to a Market District footprint. It’s a mess right now but the renovations are going quickly. Wine department was reset and expected as of today. Will update as it progresses!

My favorite grocery store hands down. Has almost everything I could need and their bakery section is leagues above others.

False advertisement and incompetent staff. It took forever to check out. It looked like the woman in front of me was headed to customer service to complain about incompetency and inaccurate receipt. Headed out not thinking much about it (everyone has rough days) but remembered that the sign said 2/$6. Called and was told they changed their Perk cards (without any communication) and mine was no longer the updated card (was also informed that eventually everyone’s cards would have the switch made). No offer to make it right. No education on how to change the card. I hope this and all giant eagles go out of business (they seem to be dropping like flies any way) for their incompetence and rudeness.

Love the store, love the people. I am not a fan of the new "MyPerks" program. Recently, they offered this new program that "sounded" impressive. Bottom line, I had reserved 2, 20% off shopping trips and they used all the benefits I had earned, plus all the "fabulous" sign up bonus points, for 1 shopping trip at 20% off. Complete misrepresentation. If you haven't switched programs, don't! I give the store 5 stars, but the new program, Zero stars....

I am reviewing this Giant Eagle store on how accessible they are for those with disabilites. The first thing that I noticed when I walked in was how there was an easy entrance for anyone in a wheelchair. There was no curbs or steep ramps to enter the store. There also was wide doors that opened automatically as you walk up to them. For the most part, the isles are wide and easy to maneuver through with few things blocking the paths. They had workers around that were very helpful if I was to need it. The only difficulty that I could see occurring is someone in a wheelchair who wouldn't be able to reach the top shelf. Although the checkout lanes could be a little wider for someone in a wheelchair or with a service dog, they weren't so small that you wouldn't be able to fit. Overall, this store is very accessible!

Picked up my daughters birthday cake today, got it home and noticed marks in it like something pushed into the side and they just put blue dots on the spot And didn’t bother to try and smooth it out with icing at least. Disappointed. They used to have a great cake decorator in this bakery years ago that cared what she handed folks for special occasions.
