Jamie M is a hair magician. I am extremely particular when it comes to my hair, and generally am very picky about who touches it. Jamie understands my quirky hair "rules" (no bangs-even if I ask), and creates custom reds for just for me (don't ask her for it, she'll tell you no). Every single time I have come to her with a new idea, she takes one look at it and says "let's go!". I've been following her around for 3 years, and she is basically stuck with me as a forever client. Not only do I enjoy my time with Jamie, I also enjoy the salon itself. You can tell the staff in the salon enjoy each other's company, making the atmosphere welcoming and comfortable. Jamie and staff clearly care about their clients, going above and beyond perfecting their craft. Anytime someone asks me where to go for salon services, I will always recommend Jamie and/or anyone at Slate. I've referred so many, I should start getting discounted services.
