Great little roadside stop. Efficient and clean. Owner was cooking, my spicy chicken was yummy, she even delivered to my pickup personally. If you are on Kerr Reservoir Fishing I suggest you find this place...

The food is decent, but the service is over the top. I can't say enough about how amazing the owner and her people are.

I'm giving this place 2 stars. One because it was a cute little mom & pop joint and I have a soft spot for those. I wish there were more of them. I'm giving the second star because the waitress was very pleasant. However, I cannot justify giving anymore stars than two because the price was expensive and, while I thought that for the price it must be really good. Unfortunately, to my disappointment, it was not great. Everything was cooked and soaked in butter, even had butter dripping off my burger pattie. The fries tasted like crunchy, grease filled straws with seasoning on them. I've had better fries from the frozen section at Wal-Mart. The burger patty was flavorless except for the butter and this butter did not even have a good buttery flavor but rather a bland strange taste that was not pleasing to the tastebuds. I think that if they found a better flavor for the meat and use some better quality butter, and cut some real fries, this would be the best joint in town.

Ordered the special: chicken fry, mashed potatoes, gravy, okra and garlic bread (you can choose other sides) and really enjoyed it. Cute decor, clean and friendly atmosphere.

It was very nice people were very friendly and food was really good it is more like the old mom and pops dinners where you don't have to be dressed up to go somewhere and eat a good meal the prices were fair not to high for the amount of food you get the food was not fancy it was down home cooking and that to me means a lot because the family eats everything that was on the menu it wasn't a bunch of stuff you couldn't pronounce much less order I would for sure go back and I would recommend this place to families with small lids as well as large kids
