Best diner in Keota, Oklahoma (OK) 2024

I'm giving this place 2 stars. One because it was a cute little mom & pop joint and I have a soft spot for those. I wish there were more of them. I'm giving the second star because the waitress was very pleasant. However, I cannot justify giving anymore stars than two because the price was expensive and, while I thought that for the price it must be really good. Unfortunately, to my disappointment, it was not great. Everything was cooked and soaked in butter, even had butter dripping off my burger pattie. The fries tasted like crunchy, grease filled straws with seasoning on them. I've had better fries from the frozen section at Wal-Mart. The burger patty was flavorless except for the butter and this butter did not even have a good buttery flavor but rather a bland strange taste that was not pleasing to the tastebuds. I think that if they found a better flavor for the meat and use some better quality butter, and cut some real fries, this would be the best joint in town. ~Don
