The prices I understand go up to accommodate the economy. However it costs my husband and myself always between 25 and 30 dollars for basic meals. 2 pieces each with 1 side. When we open the small box and look at the food 'crammed' inside it, is just disappointing and unappealing. We are not the only ones who feel all this. People talk in a small town. We would go there more often if it weren't for these issues. Too bad. In this small town they could make out with good business. But as is few people go here.

This place has a ventilation issue where the entire interior of the building is filled with smoke from the kitchen. Looks like I'm back in the 90's when everywhere was the smoking section. That being said, this place is 🔥. Their chicken has been some of the best Golden Chick I have ever had (with the exception of one visit). Defintely some of my comfort food and would eat again! Parking: The parking stripes are a little close together and it can cause it to get pretty difficult to get in and out of your vehicle when the lot is full.

I ordered the spring meal deal with extra sides and rolls. Paid about $15 extra for the sides. Which was fine, except we are just having chicken and okra tonight. They forgot to send the mashed potatoes, gravy, and macaroni and cheese. Even after asking of it was all there. Manager is very rude! And she will charge you for a free icecream. She did me, just saying!

Just stopped by and tried ordering food. This unprofessional lady made excuses when I ordered fried cat fish she said her fryer is broken and can't fry catfish. So I then asked her if her chicken and French fries since she said her fryer is broken. She rather serve me old friend chicken that's been sitting there for hours . Store don't closes for another 35 min . I guess that's her way of refusing service cause it's almost close time. Attitude needs some serious adjustment along with customer service needs major work. Will never come here again . I do not recommend this place to anyone

Don't go there! A few years ago, my family and I would travel through Sulphur quite frequently. We would all look forward to stopping at Golden Chick. Great Food. Great Service. Last evening we were passing through Sulphur and looked forward to stopping and eating at the G. C. Alas, the Golden Chick should now be renamed to the Dirt Chick. Nothing golden about this place anymore. We ordered the 2 piece fish with 3 shrimp and a 3 piece chicken dinner. See photos. All of this for 25 bucks. The 2 pieces of fish are smaller than the shrimp and were mostly batter, not fish. The chicken "leg" was more like a wing stump. They must be raising miniature chickens around here some place. Sorry to say, Golden Chicken has been removed from my list of establishments to visit.

We live in Sulphur, Ok. First time we ordered here, we ordered the roasted thighs. What we got were pieces with backs. Definitely not thighs. Sides also wrong. It was just nasty. All employees were young and inept. Second time we tried the catfish. Food was okay, but not fresh. Decided to try the fish one more time. Husband went today. He went in, ordered 2 orders of 3 piece each catfish, fries and green beans. Paid $19. When they handed him the order, it was wrong and he asked about it, they said they had given his order to someone else. He was so mad at this point, after waiting so long, he just left without getting money back and didn't want to wait for them to cook more. Should also be noted again, that each time the employees are young, don't seem to be interested in customer service and overall rude and inept. What he brought home this day was 6 pieces of shrimp, fries, green beans and 2 rolls. Food was decent.

Food is good but $10 for tinders are size of my thumb is a joke. but we just went in drive thru 1:15 minutes before closing they was all so rude even the shift leader or Manger lady you can her her complain to her workers about making new rolls or food because they close in a hour. Then one of the workers with braids was standing by register scratching her hair and then started to blow her nose multiple times in the area close to food,it's just poor management and leader ship. After we got home we open our gravy and has clumps of something in it when it should be just gravy.

1 Star ONLY because the food tasted good. From the time I walked in door I was less than impressed. I ordered at 11:45a so I don't think it was from a rush of people. The floor was disgusting at the front counter (later seen behind the counter as well), the employee was less than enthused to be there (not rude but definitely not customer service oriented), The tea counter and soda fountain were nasty. I will add photos, you have to zoom in to see but look at the hot roll steamer glass, the counter with tea canisters and the soda fountain. I will say the food was hot and fresh and that's why I gave 1 Star. I definitely will not go back and yes, I shared my thoughts with the number provided

3 pc chicken tender sandwich combos: Extremely small tenders and chicken was cold. Taste was good enough considering... Ordered pickles on sandwich but didn't receive any. Okra was fresh and hot but boyfriend's side salad was NOT good. Lettuce was very slimey and there was no fork. He requested Italian dressing but was given a ranch and a thousand island dressing packet instead. Soda's were packed with ice. Not the best experience overall. We don't live in town but we wouldn't visit this location again based on this visit. :-(

Such a better place to eat! Such great improvements with the staff and food. Joni was amazing with our order in the drive through and took the time to explain new items on the menu and repeated the order to confirm it was correct. Food was delivered quickly, was correct as well as fresh and HOT! Very impressed with the much needed quality and customer service. Good job Golden Chick!
