We are an Italian deli. We make our own sausages, pastas, lasagnas, and sauces for you to take home to create delicious meals. We also have a full deli case of imported and domestic Italian meats and cheeses. We offer a sandwich menu using our deli case items. Must Visit. This is a wonderland of treats for people who love food. You can get a great sandwich and while waiting look at imported pantry goods like tinned truffles, fish, wine and oils. Then step over to the cooler where you can get a grab and go lasagna, sauces, pizza, buffalo mozzarella... The deli case is full of meats and cheeses that they will happily make a charcuterie of. My personal fav is the fontina. The specials and stock change often enough to make it a worthy visit every time.

This deli is amazing. Great sandwiches. Homemade dry pasta! If you like pasta and you’ve never had homemade pasta you really need to treat yourself and buy some. They also have desserts, cheeses meats and more. They have buffalo mozzarella here as well which is pretty hard to find. It seems like They have all kinds of Italian imported stuff as well. I definitely recommend checking this place out.

This deli is amazing. Great sandwiches. Homemade dry pasta! If you like pasta and you’ve never had homemade pasta you really need to treat yourself and buy some. Nice Italian import store. Love the vegetarian Caprese sandwich. Finally a place where we can get some of the famous, healthy Mediterranean diet! Wish they offered more vegetarian/pescetarian options. The new "The Goat" sandwich (vegetarian with goat cheese) is fantastic!!! I think this place probably has the best sandwiches in all of Astoria!

We've been to Astoria many times, but this was our first trip to Gaetano's. We ordered Italian Club and Astorialetta sandwiches. Simply stated, both were outstanding! We have had many "deli" sandwiches over the years and these rank among the very best. I rarely write a review but when one is earned it means that much more. Absolutely check them out!

This is fresh, it is tasty and it is just awesome. For Italian food for lunch, it is hard to beat. I've had the meatball sandwich which had a perfect mix of savory flavors mixed with cheese. The caprese is worth a try, both somewhat mild yet a melding of some spice and sweet aged balsamic. The Italian sandwich is my go to, and it's got the perfect balance of meat, veggies and bread. The pastrami sandwich was the largest I've ever had. It defines what a meat sandwich should be. The roast beef sandwich (pictured) is a delectable combination of flavors that meld into the right balance of meat, veggies, and sauce.

I was so thrilled to find a new market with different cuisine in town. I HAD to try their fresh pasta. I was impressed. The portion was so much bigger than I thought! They have an amazing selection of oils and sauces and spices and homemade fresh foods. You can get a sandwich or sausage for a meal right there or snag a lasagna to bake at home for dinner. I will be going back for more pasta!

Stopped by last night after a day on the beach and picked up a couple of sandwiches. The turkey and the Italian. The people were great, the space is awesome ( lots of dry goods and heat and eat pasta dishes). The sandwiches were outstanding. The bread was great! Highly recommended. Will definitely be back. Top notch.
