Love this store! I always find cute gifts and cards. Perfect place for a hostess and baby gifts too!

Great little shop in Manzanita. The owner was very personable and helpful. Lots of unique, locally made items, which is encouraging.

I do not usually write reviews but thought it was important to provide an opposing view to the prior negative thoughts. If you are an emotionally intelligent individual this is the shop for you. If you understand dry wit and humor this is the shop for you. If you understand sarcasm this is the shop for you. On my recent retirement retreat to Manzanita my friends and I found this gem and spent a good half hour laughing with the owner. We had seen the reviews online and to be honest wanted to visit because of them. The owner of the jogging stroller failed to mention the size of the shop, small aisles packed with fragile goodies. Here is a hint for you - buy an umbrella stroller for shopping. The other omission was the size of the front porch area. It was not built for dog lounging. When did it become a store owners responsibility to cater to our pets? I found some unique Christmas gifts at the store. I plan to make this a "must stop" when I return to Manzanita.

The owner is kind of mean. I barely stepped foot in there completely happy and ready to buy cute cards. She immediately stopped me because I had taffy in my mouth. My whole family left and never came back again. We went a purchase a whole stack of adorable cards at Salt and Paper, and the lady working there was very sweet and friendly.

The lady running the shop was extremely mean and rude. I also viewed some pretty disturbing behavior from her while waiting outside the shop. Two adorable pups greeting each other on the road outside got spooked by a falling mannequin and growled. One of the dogs belonged to a brown family while the other to a Caucasian family. She came rushing out. Without knowing anything about the situation, she proceeded to yell at the brown family, completely ignoring the other family - although neither was at fault. Definitely would not recommend this place.

As mentioned in another review, I too wish I could leave less than one star. The owner of this business doesn’t even deserve the star! She is one of the rudest, cold hearted individuals I’ve ever encountered! When one works in the customer service industry, they should exemplify just that...excellent customer service. The owner of this business should be employed with a correctional institute. If pictures are not allowed to be taken in the shop, it would be a wise idea to have that posted in clear view for all patrons to see. I took a photo of an item I thought my friend shopping at a store next door would have most likely purchased. The owner was quick to ask if I took a picture and then ordered me to delete the photo because pictures are not allowed. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS SHOP & will spread the word for others to shop elsewhere!

I got about 6” through the front door with my jogging stroller and the woman behind the counter, without even looking up to address me, coldly says, “It’s not going to fit.” Um, OK. Why do you sell children’s stuff if your store doesn’t accommodate strollers? My son was being a bit fussy on top of that and I got the vibe she didn’t want a crying baby in there at all. I had money to spend, guess you didn’t want it!

I really wanted to like this shop....It was well curated and it carries several of my friends products. But I just couldn't get over the owner sitting behind the desk yelling to people to "don't do that" "don't do this". It was really off putting. I can understand a gentle "no eating in the store" but yelling "don't eat taffy" really made me want to leave. It felt like the customers were a bother. So I left and hopefully will find some of the things I wanted in a different place.

Fun stores come in small packages. I often walk Laneda Avenue and nearly always stop in for a look at Wisteria Chic for the following reasons: 1) The owner, Debbie, is a gas and always friendly. 2) She has some of the funniest, unexpected cards I've ever seen and they change regularly. 3) It's just a clean, happy place that still feels roomy in spite of it's small size. And her merchandise is all good stuff.

Love, love, love the store and the owner! What a beautiful display of merchandise and I never leave without buying something. It is definitely one of my happy places that whenever I get back to Manzanita from Central, OR I'll pay Wisteria Chic a visit.
