Phenomenal food and service. Ashley went above and beyond. This burger was humongous and delicious. I’ve never had a burger we’re both buns were cheese encrusted. The ranch dressing is phenomenal and taste very much like Hidden Valley homemade dressing. The burger is titled the gut buster.

We wanted to eat at the black bear chain down the road, but the line to get in appeared to be too long compared to our hunger levels, so we looked on Google Maps for an alternative, and this was what we chose. And am I ever glad! Incredible hospitality, and very delicious food and ample portions for the price, I am very impressed with this one-of-a-kind Newberg-only family restaurant. This is a place that I would really look forward to returning to. I guess that I will have to visit my friend in Newberg again to get that opportunity. I want to stress again the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. That is something that I might have thought had all but disappeared from our society. I'm exaggerating a little, but I mean to say that they are just downright friendly and make you glad to know that you are welcome there. And the food is great!

I came in with my wife they were extremely busy!!! my wife and I got sat at the same time with three other tables with our waitress so she was not able to get to us for roughly 30 minutes despite the 30-minute wait she was very attentive continue to check in with us to let us know where she was in the process of being able to get to us she brought me two drinks (30 minutes later because she was getting drinks along with orders for previous simultaneous tables!!!) one with ice and one without stating she was not sure when she would be able to get back to refill our drinks I thought it was very thoughtful I never needed a refill I ordered the New York steak I was almost done with the steak and the waitress noticed me sawing away (I don't like to return food because of time) she immediately went to management and returned stating unfortunately she couldn't do anything to accommodate my bill because I'd eaten the steak. She was incredibly apologetic and stated she wished she could do something to accommodate us we left her a $50 tip despite the quality of food and management being dismissing, service was amazing!!!

The breakfast is great (minus the sourdough toast, which is more like a thick piece of undercooked Texas toast/bread...we prefer regularly sliced and crispy), and my 2 sons have to come weekly for their chicken caesar, which they say is the best they've ever had. Great, kind staff. Our favorite "local" spot...we live in Sherwood, so only 10 min away).

Great local establish with excellent breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, as well as a bar in the back. Service was friendly and fast. There is usually a wait for tables on weekend mornings, and with good reason: the food is delicious. The gravy is especially good, light and fluffy in texture with a deep savoriness.

Probably one of my favorite places while visiting the area! I only ate here for breakfast, but it was great everytime. I love the waffles and pancakes. The chicken and waffles were good too. If I had to complain, it would be about the scrambled eggs. The cooks don't seem to know how to probably make eggs scrambled hard. I still are them... Overall you can't go wrong here.
