On October 17th I took my truck in for a Krown reapplication. This is the third application that I have had done at Decatur's and up til now have had great experiences. I drive 2 hrs from my house to get this service done, so I will schedule a vacation day from work to do it. The day I got it done it was raining very hard so when it was finished, I just jumped into my truck and drove off. When I got home the rain had stopped so I decided to look under the hood and check out the job they had done.( I like to see everything shine, it makes me feel good) To my surprise there were areas under the hood that had been skipped top of the motor and along the firewall (see Pictures) I wasn't able to assess the under carriage as i just drove through a rain storm and it was wet. The icing on the cake was that at check out they tried to charge the current rate of the application and as anyone who uses Krown knows you are locked in to the price it was at the first application. They changed the total when I brought it up but they should be able to see that on their computer. I don't know if this was due to the change of ownership of Decatur, but here's my dilemma I don't know how I want this handled. I know how it looked in the past and have had mechanics tell me that the coating was on everything and wanted to know what it was, and that made me feel they did a great job of getting everything coated and now I don't feel I can trust them. I have no way of knowing what they did under the truck or in the body panels. I love the product but if its not installed correctly then it's useless ill probably try a different Krown location to have it reapplied. At the end of the day they may have done a perfect job underneath and in the panels. but I have no way of knowing. Richard Howells

I had used Decaturs for some minor car work such as oil changes, but recently was in an accident. My car required major work and I was not looking forward to it. From the moment I called them I was put at ease and they took care of everything for me. They dealt with my insurance, had my car fixed and looking perfect within a week, and even cleaned it and had it smelling awesome. Communication was great through the whole process! The staff is courteous and friendly. I can not recommend them enough. Great trustworthy business in the Valley!
