Decent size store. Good selection. Pretty well organized for clothes. Toys were a mess but it could have been worse. Staff was friendly. Used it as a road trip stop (to stretch our legs and just get a break from driving). Was a good location for that because sheetz is across the way for snacks, drinks, and bathrooms. Overall would definitely stop again.

I walked out of here with some really good things. I will say prices are a tad bit on the higher side on some of the vintage goods, but there are still deals if you look. Given the fact that Hoke-E-Geez, an antique mall, is right across the street, I'm sure a lot of vendors go there to source for their booths. The store charges more because they want the most to go towards their mission rather than supporting the vendors, which to a degree I do understand.

Stopping resellers which is why you raise prices? Ridiculous reason for pulling up prices to almost retail. Resellers are trying to make a living just like everyone else. Especially during these COVID times. Some might even be Senior Citizens who can't work and do need extra funds to survive. Also, resellers have to pay for their own goods to sell and have overhead costs. You people may have overhead, but the products you get are free. I have donated thousands of dollars of things. Therefore, as free donations to help those with less, they need to be priced as such. So EVERYONE can afford to get nice things. Or to help out during tough times. You are taking advantage of people`s hard times, which in my opinion is morally wrong of you to do. Also, when you overpriced things then nobody wants to buy which hurts the business. So, in the end you lose. Also, I read on another review where an employee raises prices so nobody will buy them and then they will have dibs on it. Another morally wrong thing to do. Thrift shops need to remain as such so as to maintain their integrity. If not, where else are less fortunate people going to go to survive living?

I go to Goodwill to find items that I need and can’t afford to buy at full price. I’ve been shopping at Goodwill since I was little and I’ve never had an issue with them until now. I found an item that I wanted on the shelves that was priced $14.99. On the bottom of the item was the original price tag (from the original retail store) that said it was $11.99. I kindly asked an employee why it was that they were pricing the item more than its original retail price—THAT WAS LISTED ON THE BOTTOM! She responded and said “It is priced like that because they sell for more online. We keep our prices higher to keep the resellers out.” So the intentions of this store in particular is to jack the prices up on anything deemed “valuable” and save all the stained tees and pants, etc for the ones like me, who can’t afford to pay extra. One word to describe this store, GREEDY. Goodwill always says that the money made is to help people, etc but this GOODWILL isn’t helping people who are struggling to afford clothes, house appliances, kids clothes and shoes because they “want to keep resellers out.” Have you ever thought about that?

Great clerks. Goodwill industries though, are privately owned franchises, like McDonalds, etc. The "antiques" are priced way above a normal buyer's budget. I suppose they look them up on Ebay and list them at that price. They should look at what the SOLD price is, because that is the reality. Doesn't matter, this franchise owner gets their items for FREE. The profits go to the owner, they may employ some people, but basically it is a high priced "antique" store with the profits fattening the owner's pockets. Now if they pay their employees very well, because they work hard, I don't mind paying high for something. Now if they don't want antique dealers coming in and getting a deal to resale, the "antique dealers" usually are people with booths for resale, and they work hard too, paying rent and sitting on things for months. So what if they buy it to resell?? Goodwill gets things FOR FREE! Everyone is struggling these days. When I see young families in there and elderly people, on a fixed income, disabled people like myself, picking things up and putting it back, it really gets my goat. I am a frequent buyer, I am trying to decorate the house I scrimped and saved for to retire in and live out my days. There was a painting I liked in the window, $100.00. I asked if they could do better, no, they cannot reduce anything for 3 months. Beverage glasses with some flowers on, $7.99 EACH. Women I spoke to in the shop, and basically, all over the nation, say the prices are unrealistic. Shame on you for taking free items and pricing them out of reach for most people. There was a stuffed Rudolf in there and has the unbelievable price of $50.00!! C'mon now. Modern day carpetbaggers. I'm sure it's all tax deductible too.
