Door dashed the chicken wing dinner, candid yams,cabbage, mac n cheese. Everything was to perfection. Tasted like my big mama cooked it. Thanks guys, I would definitely eat here again 😋

I Hate to leave a review like this,but it's my honest truth. Well let's just say I will not be ordering again. I waited 30 minutes for so called fresh food. The baked Mac and cheese was unseasoned,the mixed greens unseasoned the fish was ok mild seasoning. Just not what I expected from a soul food place.

Great food. Only open for takeout. The pound cake wasn't homemade pound cake but the fried whiting, cabbage and macaroni are good.

Never got a chance to eat there because first impression is everything. The lady on the phone is very nasty, impatient, and needs to be terminated. After speaking with her I quickly canceled my order. I will post my experience all over social media and encourage my followers not to support this business.

We wanted some good soul food and found that this is currently the only soul food in town However we never had the chance to try the food. The woman who answered the phone was so rude, and quick to hang up the phone. I wanted to order a meal and 3 sides. She said I can only get 2 sides maybe. Even though I was willing to pay extra. She then said that I was being hostle. Are kidding me. Her customer service is horrible. I hope that wasn't the owner.

Just spoke to a young lady there to place my order. She was extremely rude. She cut me off before I could finish my order. I was trying to order two dinners. Then when I placed my order she stated she would call me back when it’s ready. I asked if she could give me a time that it would be ready. She explained that she could not give me a time that my food would be ready because there were other orders ahead of me ( Obviously)! I simply asked if it may be 30,40 minutes or possibly an hour. She caught another attitude and said no like I said before I can’t tell you that! Poor customer service so I will definitely not be spending my money there ever!

Ordered from here today for the first time. Extremely disappointed. I always support my small black businesses, but the service was terrible(girl who answers the phone needs customer service training) and the food was awful. I ordered smothered chicken, greens and Mac and cheese. The "smothered" chicken was simply fried chicken with some sort of very thin gravy lightly poured on top-thus defeating the definition of SMOTHERED chicken, the greens were basic(no smoked turkey/meat) and either canned or just not fresh, and the Mac and cheese was boxed with additional cheese added and reheated. I also ordered fried chicken for my husband and it was fried so hard, we couldn't even tell what part of the chicken it was. We threw everything out. My husband LOVES chicken, so for him to throw it out says alot. Wasted $32. Additionally, this place does not allow customers in the restaurant, so the same female who answers the phone, comes to the door, takes your card to process and hands you your food. I didn't get a thank you, have a nice day, etc. I'm also not comfortable not being able to see how my credit card is being handled, so on on top of everything else, that adds to my reasoning for not returning to this place. I will continue to frequent Blended Flavors in Linden when I need my soul food fix. Their food and service are consistently great.

Ordered through grub hub. Food was fresh, hot and tasty. We had fried whiting, fried pork chops, mac n cheese, yams and collard greens. Fish was seasoned and fried perfectly. Pork chops were a nice size, so were the food portions. I had lost all hope on finding a decent cooked soul food place after trying 1 not too far from Momma's that turned me all the way off! But, glad I tried it, we were not disappointed at all. Food was good.
