Very cool little vintage store. I love the handwritten tags on the clothing with unique descriptions of each piece. Their customized sock collection is also quite amazing, and I spent a good bit of time looking through their collection of vintage tattoo flash. I highly recommend visiting if you are in downtown Carlisle.

Super fun shop! The worker yesterday was extremely friendly and helpful. There’s very cute vintage clothing but also jewelry, records, socks, pins, etc.. You can tell they care and this is a great small business to support.

Miss Ruth's Time Bomb is a vintage shopper's delight! Unlike many vintage stores, which focus on the 1970s - Y2K, many decades are represented here, and the store is organized and styled to invite discoveries. The prices are affordable for quality, curated vintage clothes and accessories. There are some funky modern accessories available as well. We shopped Friday afternoon, and the staff was so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The store is an absolute gem!

Drove there specifically to see it and there was a "Closed" sign on the door "due to rain." Waste of time #1. Went there again today. Clerk just sat behind the counter on her phone, no greeting, no explanation of the store, asking if she could help, Nothing. Walked around a bit and saw a small chest or locker sitting on rack. No price, Wasn't being used as a fixture or anything. I went to the counter and interrupted the girl sitting there on her phone. I asked her about it and without even asking me where it was or what it looked like just blurted out, "It's not for sale." I asked her about an old gas mask that I had seen in one of the pictures on the website. "I think we sold that." was the reply. All the while not even getting up once from her chair. Two trips there. Both a huge waste of time. Save your self the grief and shop the other antique stores.

Miss Ruth’s Time Bomb truly is the bomb, definitely one of the best vintage shops I’ve been to!! I’ve been going here since they were just a tiny little shop on High St, and I’ve loved seeing their growth over the years! Fantastic selection of quality, beautiful, unique vintage clothing at reasonable prices. Don’t forget to also check out their home decor, records, jewelry/accessories, and of course their fun socks and other funky knickknacks! Staff is super friendly too. Highly recommend stopping in at Time Bomb whether you live in Carlisle or are just passing through!

My first time here and I love this place! They have a great collection of mostly vintage clothing, most of which is in excellent shape. I bought a dress for my nieces wedding. I walked by and it was hanging on an end cap, and I had a hunch it would work. Its NOT vintage, but it fit perfectly, is super comfy, looks great. My husband confirmed and said, "You should just get it now." So I did. I also got a cool, colorful wool skirt circa 1970s. If you love fashion, Miss Rurh's is a must see. I'll be back when I visit the area again.

It took me 30 minutes to get past the front of the store where there were very unique sunglasses, vintage & unique pieces of jewelry, luggage... Then I decided to see what all the store had to offer. I wandered around a few times, coming back to many things of interest. You'll find enough old record albums to keep you busy for some time! Vintage style clothing, hats, and even a bridal section. In the back, which is a real step back in time, you can rent the space for gatherings. I loved the place. (Tip: none of the awesome lamps are for sale 😕)
