This is one of the worse post offices I've ever been. They have the wrose service in the history of USPS

The carrier for the area I live in quit.They are down positions. Mail hasn't been delivered in a week. Time sensitive mail (taxes, mail-in-ballots, bills) are not being delivered. Employees at post office are not following up. No answers on when you can go to pick up mail. The Carlisle post office is chaotic, disorganized and a mess right now.

Carlisle post office needs some SERIOUS help! Between packages being TOSSED at people's doors and mail not being delivered at all, someone up the chain please help these people!

I truly wish I could say my experiences with SPECIFICALLY the CARLISLE PA post office were different. I go there a few times a week, often mailing packages, some days when I go there noone comes to the front to assist me, to put postage on my packages, take my money etc...some days I spoke loudly, said hey you have a customer, but the employees still would not come. I do understand that they might be understaffed and I do feel compassion, but it's usually EXTREMELY SLOW service consistently or bad service. I hope they find the help they desperately need.

I don't understand why I get other people's mail? How much of my mail was delivered elsewhere? I lived in Newville for 18 years and rarely experienced a problem, they're very efficient. Carlisle is the opposite. The Carlisle post office has a terrible reputation that they seem to live up to constantly. When is someone going to help? Very frustrating. Also, I would never mail anything from my personal mailbox!

Today my entire block received the mail from a totally different Street several miles away. Everyone on my block got the wrong mail. Try to call the Carlisle Post Office and they don’t answer the phone. This Post Office offers third World Country postal service. The WORST !!!!

We hardly ever receive our mail. We went through a good 2 months where we actually got our mail...it's going on two weynow with no delivery. When you go to the actual office, you wait in line forever. How do they not understand that people need their mail?

Myself and my neighbors have had so many issues with our mail carrier within the last few weeks that it's inexcusable. Consistently having mail sent to wrong houses, packages delivered to the wrong houses, financial mail being delivered to wrong houses, I've found mail for other people on the ground, and most recently they've marked 4 out of 5 of my packages shipping out of state as delivered soon after pickup. What makes it worse is that they don't answer the phone. Just over 2 weeks ago, I called for 15 solid minutes about 30 minutes before closing. No answer. I went in and there wasn't a line. Last week, I called for 30 solid minutes near the end of the day. No answer. I was out of town and could not go in. I am disabled. My neighbors are disabled and/or elderly. Neither I, nor they, can freely go into town to speak to someone in person every single time this inept worker messes up. Refusing to answer your phone is not allowing for equal access to services which is required by law. The only redeeming factor has been the one male supervisor there. From speaking with him, he seems very familiar with the area and those who live here. I have confidence that he is addressing this appropriately with his employees. I just hope that the employees respect him enough to actually listen and give a damn.

The office staff and deliver people are all pleasant and easy to work with. We have had some delays lately but not because the staff is not working. As an online seller, they are the best option for most of my shipping needs.
