Weis Market in East Berlin..the prices are a little cheaper than Giant in Dover. Sometimes they do not have the cat I use. The gas is ALWAYS cheaper there, and if you are a Weis card member you can get points are most items you buy and earn 10¢ off for every 100 dollars spent. We got 90¢ off per gallon last week!!! Tuesdays are Senior Citizens Day and Thursday is Military Service Day when you get 10% off, so we shop on either of those days. The only real complaint is the fruit in the produce department, not always the freshest, so check it out thoroughly before buying.

This is the worst laid out grocery store I've ever been in. I ALWAYS have to ask someone where stuff is. It's so frustrating trying to find certain items, Weis should have never moved into this small of a building. I won't be back I'll drive the extra miles and go to Giant where I can find everything.

Only 1 star because I can't leave a 0 this morning they open at 7am self checkout only no cashier till 8:30 am. the lady at self checkout was too busy chatting with everyone,had to keep calling her over instead of her paying attention to her job.. my friend was with me I just had a medical procedure done she needed a cashier not to do it herself. Between the two of us we spend over $500 but from now on her and I will be going to another store Walmart or giant food Lion we will no longer shop at wise Besides I'm not a employee when you start to give a discount for making use use self checkout maybe ! Also self checkout is card only & I also shop for my mother in law & I need to pay hers with cash.been shopping here since grocery store in New Oxford closed but I'm done with this store.

My wife and I have been shopping here for years. It used to be Nell's Market. But lately the service has really gotten bad. The store opens at 7 am but now the deli doesn't open until 10 am. Genius. Nothing like making money by losing sales. When I was first told this the deli employee laughed about it,and when i asked at customer service I was met with a shoulder shrug. This is how Weis wants to treat it's loyal customers? I say screw you. It is time to go somewhere else. Try Kennies in Spring Grove employee owned and operated.

Since the demise of Nell's Shurfine, we thought that having a Weis Markets near town would be a bad thing. Quite the contrary. Although not as big as a regular Weis, they have neatly compressed much of the aisles to accommodate almost everything they would have in the full-size versions. The bakery is always making some amazing breads, donuts, and cakes, if which the birthday cakes are some of our favorites (even if they're a bit expensive). A beer and wine section adds panache to a good weekend, and the meat and seafood staff are always so helpful when they have what you need, which is almost always. The store is pristine clean and always a delight to shop in. And with self-checkout, it's a breeze. They adhered to the COVID routine beautifully, and now they're still keeping folks safe. I've never had an issue with finding a cart, they always have wipes to wipe stuff down, and it's been a real pleasure to shop there. We don't shop there nearly as much as we should because we have teenage boys and food must be purchased bulk, but when we need something, we're there. Awesome to have them with us!
