Food was good. Could be a little more clean. Example the salt and pepper shakers were dirty and sticky to the touch. Our table wasn't the cleanest either.

Stay away from the chicken sandwich! That thing was like a tasteless hunk of leather. And the bread, I even hate to mention that dried out excuse for a bun! Boyfriend enjoyed the wings and beer. If I go back I'll just have an order of fries.

22.00 for a taco bowl & soft taco that's a special?! 8/24/21...we Sat un the in the dinner room for 20 mins without anyone coming over we left as did another couple..no help close the dinning room.....Update 4/29 saw a post on Facebook Jason hall crying about them being outta wings after Ivy explained it ....grow up dude go get some chicken nuggets ....turbotville hotel won't even sell a dozen right if any due to price get over yourself ..Ivy does a great job 🍔 s are very good 1/2 and 1/3 options even sweet potato 🍟 the wait can be long at times but the food is good and price is right

Stopped for late lunch on a Saturday. The food was FANTASTIC and the staff was friendly and kind. Atmosphere was welcoming, place was clean. Made a water Buffalo friend as well, which is always a bonus.

It has been quite a while since the last time I was there. Got the Battered Fish on a hero with Battered Fries .... really good! I will go back again and order the same food!

Americana at its best. The food is awesome. The place us awesome and the people even better. Definitely will stop again. Great atmosphere that fits the area perfectly. This is a diamond in the rough.

The angus is a good spot in Hughesville! Cold drinks, and lots of options. Wing night is a hit and they are the best around!! Indoor dining is nice and roomy. Well staffed!

The Angus has a 3 step process to their wings offered only on Wednesdays. They lightly cook them, soak them in sauce of choice, charbroil them on the grill and then soak them in sauce of choice again before sending them out to customers. If you don't like charbroiled wings, I recommend ordering the garlic parm or BBQ wings as they are lightly grilled. Customers need to understand that the restaurant is cranking out 150-170 dozen charbroiled wings along with other food during a 3 1/2 hour period of time every Wed so it's likely you will need patience when the place is busy. They offer baby back ribs and chicken specials on the weekends cooked in the in-house smoker for 9 hours. The ribs are so meaty and flavorful and the fresh 1/2 lb Angus burgers are delicious. There are weekly dinner specials and slushy machines filled with a variety of sweat beverages (yeah!). There is a convenient pick up window out back and in-house seating in the smoke-free dining room and bar area. Give this place a try. You won't be disappointed!
