This was my first time visiting after hearing many rave reviews from neighbors. I had the steak tips with Mac and cheese. My husband had a sirloin steak and baked potato. He said both were awesome. They were both very good! The dining area was small so I would suggest reservations.

Had the Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak minus the mushrooms; it was really good! They have Beer Battered Fries; they are fantastic! Good food; good time with family.

My favorite place to eat. Love owners, staff and atmosphere. Food is awesome, portions are big, prices are great, and the mac and cheese and clam chowder are homemade and to die for.

Out in the middle of nowhere, tavern's like this are a staple for backwoods Pennsylvania, and this one is just perfect. If I was staggering in off the mountain, I'd feel right at home here in this casual dining place with lots of native creatures decorating the walls, but it's also great for those flatlander types like us, just passing through who want a real tavern experience. The food is great with a pretty large variety of wings and a giant pile of mountain fries to boot. Parking in the back.
