My husband and I come here often because it's so close to our house. Service is always fantastic. We love the food, especially the giant pretzel with honey mustard sauce. The biggest issue is the meat is usually very underseasoned. I'm not the type of person to complain about this type of thing, but I don't order steaks here for this reason and I've had the same issue with burgers too.

Overall we had a great experience here for the first time. We stopped by for lunch and the dining area was empty and some folks came in after we sat down. There was a lot of seating in their back section and the sign out front said to seat yourself. We ordered the fried chicken sandwich (Nashville hot sauce) with a side of fries and a burger. Both were really good. The fries were nothing special and were soft. Service was good, a little slow but it didn’t matter since our food was good and fresh.

I unfortunately have to leave a poor review. I don't believe in burying small businesses and like to leave good reviews for everyone. We ordered food after a long trip, and of course, the bread on the Ruben was burnt. Black. I mean absolutely burnt. How does the cook let this leave the kitchen? Not to mention the fries were soggy and cold. I understand somethings get overlooked, but for Christ's sake, this was just blatant. It's always hit or miss with this place. I think I have given up on this establishment. Sorry. Hope things improve in the future, and hopefully I can gain some courage to order from here again.

This place has a nice atmosphere and good selection of beer and drinks. The staff is super friendly and the place is always clean. The food.... well.... it's OK. Nothing special to write home about. It's standard OK food. On the plus side they do/did have 3$ Margarita Thursdays.

Had a couple delicious appetizers and drinks while killing some time waiting for our grandpa to be admitted to nearby hospital. Bartender was friendly and attentive. Nice atmosphere (sat out on the covered deck). Would definitely go again

My wife and I were recently told about this place from her family and while we were visiting family in Karns City from Florida, we decided to try out The Craft House Gastropub. We really enjoyed the food and experience. The waitress was attentive and stayed on top of our orders and refills. Although the drink prices are a little pricey, it is still worth it. The mules were $2 off and they had a handful of mules. Next time you are looking for a place to dine for lunch or dinner, I strongly recommend the Craft House Gastropub in Kittanning, PA.

This is a place we frequent due to it being close and the food normally being good. However, it has gone down hill immensely in recent months. Our last 2 visits were awful. The first we waited for over 2 hours from start to finish for easy food (salad, pasta, flat bread). Luckily, the waitress was friendly and kept the drinks filled. Our most recent experience was Saturday (7/16). It took over 10 minutes to be seated, then once we were seated we waited for nearly 30 minutes and never saw a waitress. Not even for drinks. When I asked if we were going to see a waitress any time soon, the table beside us told us they waited over an hour for their salads and they came with no dressing. We decided it wasn't worth waiting any longer and left. I understand that they are understaffed, everyone is, but I haven't had this problem at any of the other local restaurants. It's not just an understaffing issue, it's a training issue as well. They keep the bar patrons happy but don't really care about the people dining in.

Hung out at bar the whole time. Bar stools where nice the drinks folded and the service was good. I will definitely go back for the food.

The food was excellent. The service however wasn't to great. We had to go find the waitress more then once. The place wasn't to busy when we were there so no reason we had to wait 10+ mins for a refill drink. When we got the drink there was straw paper stuck to the inside of the cup so we didn't end up drinking it anyways. We had to ask for our own check.

Waited 45 minutes to be asked for a drink order and we had to stop a waitress and ask why we didn't have one yet. There were people that came in after us that had their food and were about ready to leave. The appetizers were good. Main meal, the turkey bowl, the turkey was dry. The Pig Iron Burger, asked for no onion ring and still received one. Other than the onion ring, the burger was good. We were a party of 4, split the check 2 and 2. Took the waitress 3 tries to get the orders right on the receipts. Unsure if I will ever go back.
