A blessing to the community. The Salvation Army is always there for the most vulnerable ones. They are always willing to serve not only during holidays, but throughout the year providing resources to the community. They also provide food the last Thursday of every month faithfully. They assist with so many programs such as summer camp, clothing, furniture, cultural events, and also housing assistance to domestic violence survivors. They offer beautiful services in their church and the staff is committed to serve the community with love, empathy and integrity. I definitely recommend this place. Keep up the amazing work guys, it doesn’t go unnoticed.

I take classes here... My worker is amazing and they offer so many programs to help the community, that most people don't even know exist.

The place has lost its glory and the congregation is small but welcoming. However the population is mostly older people.

Particularly in Reading Pa....There's a worker there named Tajuana who does everything she can to "Not" qualify you for any Social help... This Salvation Army is the worst of all Salvation Army's I've ever dealt with.. And im comparing them to others in Several states... The staff are very unknowledgable.. As well as very unorganized.... Whether you have an appointment or not, be prepared to spend the day there... Bring lunch, it's not provided... I suggest you try any other Salvation Army in any other county... Reading Pa's branch SUCKS..

Please remove this location. IT CLOSED A YEAR AGO. I wish it would re open. Now we have no nearby Salvation Amy Store. What is Berks County too good for those of us who don't have a lot of money? NOT FAIR
