I have been going here on and off for years. The truth is? It’s not worth it. Since they are picky I only would take things to consign in new or like new condition. I always make sure it’s stuff they claim they take on their website. A lot of it was in perfect condition but they never took it. I understand they wont take everything that is brought in. However, it’s the lies and no transparency that is bothersome. I would ask why it wasn’t taken which is a reasonable question. I would be told they don’t take the brands or it’s years old. For example I brought a coach wallet that I bought brand new and took it in a month later. Still being sold in stores and they told me it was from a few years ago. Obviously you don’t know what you’re talking about. They’ve taken cheaper brands from target but nothing brand name I took there. They would claim I altered stuff or left it in the sun. As someone who has worked at a consignment store and retail it’s very unreliable here. I once was offered $3 for nike shoes and they sold the pair for $40. Also I had good experiences with Jill and Libby in the beginning but it’s 50/50 now. One day they could be nice other days they are extremely rude and unprofessional. They claim they don’t take older stuff but then you look around and there’s a lot of older stuff. It’s not consistent. I’ve brought in stuff and they say it would be a few minutes. Then Jill or Libby would say they’re leaving early and the younger girls working wouldn’t say anything. It never left the front counter so I know no one looked at it and they would say oh we can’t take anything. Seriously? They do a lot of gossiping at the front counter as well. It’s more of a clique environment than a business. It’s uncomfortable being in there. I brought in stuff to consign and they said they couldn’t take anything. I went to grab my basket and I saw American eagle jeans, coach wristlet and American eagle t shirt were missing. I asked they younger girl at the register and she said I didn’t bring it in. I told her I document what I take so I need my stuff back unless they’re buying it. She went back and found all 3 of my things in their “purchased” pile. She handed it to me and she didn’t say a word. That was the last straw for me. If I wasn’t paying attention they would have stolen my items. It’s been declining over the last few years. They claim they worked really hard and people should respect heir business and that’s understandable. Being unprofessional, rude and blaming customers and taking no responsibility is not a good business practice. They act very entitled and are willing to shame and be rude to customers and consigners they are not personally fond of. That is a awful way to run your business and gives you bad reputation. There are some great high end consignment shops in Lancaster county. This is not one of them. As further proof: If you read the reviews here in the owners response her response is awful customer service. I’ve worked in customer service for 8 years and anyone who acted like that would be fired. She responded with passive aggressiveness and shamed the customer. She stated they are not a donate center for goodwill. Which technically yes, but on their website if they cannot accept or it’s not picked up. “We will return to you items we cannot accept. Items must be picked up same day or may be donated.” Also on their website it states “ Please read! There are many factors when choosing items to sell at our shop. Style, condition, brand .. and whether we may be filling up on certain sizes or styles. We never want to offend our customers whose items we cannot accept. It literally is the worst part of our job! Thank you for understanding.”As the owner said “Trust me when I say, no business would have appreciated what you brought and how you brought them” Now obviously I was not involved in the situation. However the owner has shown to shame customers, lacks customer service and empathy. Trust me, when i say your lack of transparency, empathy and entitled actions are shameful.

Overpriced items that are out of style. Quality & selection has significantly decreased since I visited years ago. Pretentious staff. I do not recommend.

My very favorite consignment shop. I have been shopping here for over 10 years. Jill is so an amazing small business owner. The shop is always filled with the most current fashion for amazing prices! I can’t say enough to good things about it!! You must check it out.

After 8 years of shopping there, I will no longer go back. Jill Hartman, the owner, was so rude to me and my family that I can no longer support the small business. After bringing clothes in to be potentially consigned, she insulted my family and then shared we insulted her by bringing clothes in. I said it was best if we parted ways and when I got home, my family relayed what was said. Previously I have seen notes written on customer's clothing returns that read "Difficult customer" which was accidently handed to the customer! I support small business. I respect female entrepreneurs. I cannot support rude behavior. I'll happily go elsewhere.

The staff at Wearhouse is always incredibly helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to help anyone who comes in the store. Not only do Jill and her team know my fiancée and me by name, but seemingly everyone else who comes in. Even for a guy like me who doesn't usually enjoy shopping, it's always a wonderful experience visiting Wearhouse.

Only my 3rd time there but will be my last. I was hesitant to go again because of past experiences but decided to give it one more try. I did not like the offer I was given and was left standing with my items thrown on the counter. I brought them in folded neatly in a bag, but had to fold them myself after being treated rudely just because the offer was too low. My items were nicer than anything on display. I’d rather give them to Goodwill than ever go back there again.

This is one of the nicest consignment shops in Lancaster County and surrounding areas. The merchandise is like new. High quality and great prices. No need to go to King of Prussia Mall. Lots of the same name brands at much better prices. Jill the owner is a class act and so are the employees she hires. I give this store a 11 out of 10.

High end for our area...lots of handbags, purchased this one for $105 minus 10%..perfect condition. Burberry, Michael Kors, Coach, all great condition...also a Louis Vuitton previously snatched up...they do a larger eBay selling so it pays to follow them on FB as the really good merchandise goes fast!!

This place was amazing. I came in here not looking for much but I was blown away by the variety of the clothes they had!! Everything was in quality condition and the staff was really helpful when I needed to find stuff. My mom came in as well and really enjoyed her experience here, it was just an all-around great place. The owner, Jill, is a really nice lady and was really personable when I consigned my clothes. I'll be back!
