I am using their service for my oxygen supply. Ordered it a week ago to be resupplied. They informed me that it was delivered. Told them not to my home. They told me to go find it at one of my neighbors then. If I could walk from home to home I would not need oxygen. I live in the country and homes are not close. Still no oxygen delivery. It's Friday so I will be unable to enjoy the nice weekend outside because I have no oxygen.

It really is a shame that people will take the time out to write a negative reviews but won't take the time out to write positive reviews! I can't believe that anyone would have a bad experience with this company! I think they are wonderful and especially during the pandemic they have been a lifesaver to me. They are close to home and I can always count on them to get things done! I order my medical supplies from them, and I also get all my medications there and I never have a problem. They go above and beyond when needed and I can't say enough good things about them. The staff is courteous, professional, knowledgeable and never rude!!! I see why they've been around so long and are so successful! Thank you Blackburn's for all you do, your service is impeccable!

I received a bill for $23.10 for a March 2021 order. I was told then it was $172 total and paid in advance. There was a significant delay in billing my insurance, as my doctor needed to renew the prescription, but Blackburn was only faxing a cover letter to him. Once the insurance claim was finally submitted, I saw it was for $195.10. My question is, where did the other $23.10 come from? I know my deductible had not been met, so I paid you exactly what you asked for. I have my original invoice in-hand that says paid. I now see an item listed as, "M-Pollen Filter," for $11.00. This is not compatible with my equipment, and I have told you that before. Yet you continue to send me that style of filter and try to bill me or my insurance company for it. I will not pay for this item. It is useless to me. So if you remove the $11.00 for that item, that still leaves an unsubstantiated balance of $12.10. I want you to explain to me how you gave me an itemized total and charged my credit card $172 and then immediately billed my insurance $195.10 and how I then owe the difference? My deductible had not been met, so if you had made an error in pricing, why not call me? Why wait over a month to charge my insurance company more? Even if items increased in price before you finally sent my doctor the proper forms, I already paid for them. Are you overbilling insurance companies? It seems that way to me.

I have been dealing with Blackburns’s for several years for my C-pap supplies. In the past year the quality of service as deteriorated! I’ve dealt with three people for my supplies. I have to call to say I haven’t received my supplies, they constantly send the WRONG supplies, they tell me they will check on my supplies and never call me back. One of them spoke to me very rudely as if it was my fault! I’m forced to use equipment longer than I’m supposed to because they don’t follow through! This has been a very frustrating situation. I do not recommend you use them for your medical supplies. Diana Bool ***UPDATE. I have been promised that my cushions are on the way. The most recent promise is that they had been shipped from Pittsburgh on 2/22 but it is now 2/26 and I’ve had no communication about them!! I’ve had to use a cushion for 2 months!!! That is unhealthy and uncalled for!!!

Encompass health ordered me a wheelchair from Blackburns. Having trouble moving around my house on the carpet. When I called the store repair department I was told “We never had anyone call with this problem” Wheelchairs aren’t made for carpet. I understand that but I can’t believe there isn’t a solution for my problem. I will have someone call you tomorrow. No return phone call. The way it was said to me was I wasn’t gonna get a return phone call. I can’t move on carpet and I am tired of not making it to the bathroom. Growing up in the Alle-Kiski valley Blackburns was a good/reputable company. First time I had to use the pharmacy and I am very disappointed. 😢

Somehow through requesting a power scooter to my Dr., I got tied in with these useless people. They called me the day after my request and said that I would have to have a medical assessment by a Dr. for the scooter. Then I was told that they also had to do an in house assessment of my home. I get a call yesterday saying that the aren't 'certified' to use my insurance for the scooter and would have to pay cash. I asked what the scooters ran price wise and was told she didn't have access to that info. WTH? If they are 'certified' to deal with insurance, why the hell did they even bother to call me about a scooter. I ended up buying a scooter on Amazon for far less then I'm sure they would have cost. SMH

Your drivers are so aggressive! I was going over the speed limit and he was so close to me! I have a 3yr and 1yr old with me also! Who ever had van #12, needs to learn how to not be such an aggressive driver. If I would have hit my brakes or anything he would have hit me! Never do I have someone so close to me! Such ignorance! The speed limit was only 35 and I had another one of your vans in front of me! Not sure where he thought he was going? If I didn’t have my 2 daughters with me I would have stopped there. To do that to anyone is so inconsiderate. It’s not like he was getting far ahead of me, nor was I driving slow. Pure ignorance. I followed him to your building, I was heading right across the street. He’s absolutely a liability to your company. There is no way I’m the only one to complain about their driving. He was so close if I would have had someone pull out in front of me, anything, there is no way he could have avoided hiring me. Maybe it’s time to show him driving etiquette. Makes me sooo angry, especially having children in the car! So disrespectful! Pure ignorance

My mother asked if her $229 charger would be refundable and the sales associate(Mary) could not provide her with an answer. So my mother asked to speak to a supervisor(Beth). My mother points out that the sales associate was rude and unhelpful and the supervisor proceeded to defend the sales associate. My mother is upset and crying. The reviews are pretty bad in here. I work for a marketing agency in Pittsburgh and I'll look into what I can do to bring awareness to this. There's elderly and disabled people who are frustrated with poor service with this company and it needs to stop.

Once again I placed an order for supplies, only to be called later and told I had to pay for deductibles, "upfront," before the order could be sent. That is both inconvenient and incorrect, considering I have received bills numerous times and promptly paid. The person I spoke to said, "I see that you have sent checks in the past, but we have always collected deductibles in advance..." Again not true...considering my insurance pays for everything after the deductible is met, every check I have ever sent is for the deductible. The staff here is both inconsistent and improperly trained.
