Love them ! I texted panically after closing and they got me in next day. My dogs are not the sweetest (barkers) but they were patient and quick . My girl is doing so much better now and they called to check up on her

I think my dogs actually like to go to the vets! This practice is so caring and responsive. The doctors and staff are so attentive and informative. You leave with a full understanding of what is going on with your fur baby, they follow up with you to make sure your babies are responding to treatment and improving. Their fees are reasonable. I wouldn't go any where else.

Incredible place with both honest and caring crew. They also do major surgery here and would highly recommend for any flat face breed. I drive the hour from Mt Washington to get here and would drive even further. They even have a ramp to the door. Way beyond 5 star.

If i could give 10 stars i would. I’m so very grateful for what they did. Very unexpectedly, my old kitty cat couldn’t stand up, couldn’t blink, couldn’t do ANYTHING. Almost as if she was paralyzed. She was cold to the touch and dying from old age i believe. I took her there, somewhere I’ve never been before with any of my pets (because we just moved near this clinic recently) and walked through the doors holding my sweet kitty cat almost lifeless. I took her there knowing euthanasia was the outcome. I didn’t want her to slowly die and suffer. As soon as i walked through the doors, they took us to a room and the dr was in the room in 30 seconds. He assisted her in crossing the rainbow bridge quick and painlessly. Considering every single veterinarian is so so busy they can’t take appointments for even weeks, this veterinarian took us right in and took care of us. I’m so appreciative she didn’t have to go slowly & am so appreciative of the front desk woman, the technician and the dr of course. Needless to say, I’ll be transferring all of my animals to this clinic for permanent care.

It took me a month to write this because I was upset, not just with my dog but the complete insensitivity and lack of compassion from West Newton Animal Clinic. My dog became very ill suddenly on a Friday at 2:00. First it took a while to even get in touch with them because you must text first. When I told them of his situation and it was a forgone conclusion that he must be put to sleep (he was a large shepard 14 years old) all I was told--and many, many times was that they closed at 3:00. She said to wait until Monday. I am not one to beg but I would do anything for my dog not to suffer so I begged--the receptionist asked someone "in back" who reinterated the same message that "they close at 3:00 and I must leave my house right now". I couldn't, I had a large vomiting dog unable to walk and it took a while just to get him into the car without hurting him further. The best I could do was close to 3:00. I trusted them with him when he was ailing and thought they would be the same when he had to be put to sleep. I was nauseated with their complete inflexibility. You would think in that profession there would be some feeling--but nothing. I called another vet which also closed at 3:00 and she said it doesn't matter we will wait for you. These are facts, not exaggerated statements and nothing was left out.

They are wonderful, Preacher(our Newfie) gets so excited when we go there. He is treated like royalty. They are always accommodating and always willing to listen and help us out. Love having them as our vet!

This is by far the BEST vet practice I have ever been to!! Every, single, staff member is kind and compassionate, including both of the vets (who also take the extra time to explain things and talk to you...even though the clinic is always busy)!! This office is also very "tech-savvy!" You can text with any questions/concerns & make appointments, and you hear back right away!! My pets are part of our family, and it means the world to me that this place treats my pets like they are their own!! A few months ago, my chihuahua-yorkie mix was getting his teeth cleaned under anesthesia. When I went to pick him up, the front desk staff said they had been "passing him around all day cuddling him!" In these instances, it's very comforting knowing that the clinic staff go above-and-beyond to care for my pets!! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

This was the first time I had Dr. Holmes. I usually have Dr Aaron. Dr Holmes did a very thorough exam and did an excellent job of explaining his findings to us. My dog is very shy, but the techs were also very patient and kind to her. Love this animal clinic.

Look no further for fantastic and fair priced veterinary practices. Dr. Hoffmeister and Dr. Holmes are wonderful with my cat. I know my fur baby is in good hands when he is there. I couldn't possibly say enough good things about them.
