I absolutely love this place. I am on a new insurance plan that doesn’t force me to use mail order, and I had the option to send my prescriptions to a local pharmacy. I am so glad I chose this over giant, Weis, CVS or Walgreens. They are friendly and accessible. Accessible?! Yes !! No waiting for 20 min in artificial intelligence hell with 100 voice prompts and responses leading nowhere. I am able to get through and talk to humans, friendly humans, knowledgeable humans, human humans….. quickly! They answer questions They call your plan if needed They call you back I didn’t think such places still existed Oh please. Please. Don’t ever go out of business

I have used the West Reading Drug Store for 50 years. With so many other options available in more recent years, I continue to use West Reading Drug store because of the helpful friendly customer service of the pharmacists. Today I was greatly helped by Tiva over the phone as she intervened with the pharmacist. I want to say thank you to her, and thank you to the staff as a whole.

Rude! I just picked up a prescription at the West Reading Drug Store and now wonder why is there such a big push to shop local. My prescription cost $30. I handed the young woman two twenty dollar bills. She rung up the order, handed me a receipt and said thank you. I said I gave you two twenties. She looked perplexed. The old woman who was beside her said, “ did he give you two twenties?” The young girl was probably busy thinking who was liking her on Facebook. They opened the drawer and pulled out two twenties. Still not convinced the old lady asked did he give you this? I the end the old lady gave me a ten dollar bill and said “here”. That’s it! Seriously? This is why we should shop local? No thanks

My grandmom used West Reading drug store for many years. She told me how great they were when I was having problems with Rite Aid. I also started using West Reading drug for prescription and didn't have anymore problems.The staff and pharmacist's are always helpful and polite. They also deliver which is a huge help for me. The delivery drivers are always so nice and patient. West Reading drug store also has some of the cutest gifts in the store. If you can't find the perfect gift for someone, try west reading drug store. They're great for prescription and more.

Always very quick when I pick up my prescriptions and friendly also. No complaints about this place except maybe they could do some remodeling but i think the mom and pop setting is part of who they are so yes come here for your medicine!

Been a customer for many years. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Always fast and efficient; never waited longer than 5 mins for prescription refills. They also have wonderful, unique gifts...I always find neat stuff for kids and babies esp that you cant find elsewhere.

My family switched from a big box store chain pharmacy to West Reading Drug Store a few years ago, and I am very happy with them. The prices are the same, and WR Drug Store is much more convenient. We can walk there to pick up prescriptions instead of having to drive and sit in traffic. They offer free delivery for anyone who may have trouble accessing the store. The employees are always helpful and kind. The owners are local, and support local school fund raisers.

I only wished I found this pharmacy sooner. My doctor recommended I start utilizing this pharmacy as they cover a generic medication he prefers his patients to use. When I Called in I spoke to a live person right away who then immediately put the pharmacist on the phone, the pharmacist proceeded to answer any and all questions I had. This level of personal service should be celebrated when found and West Reading Drug Store has a new life long customer.

When traveling from out-of-state, I neglected to bring my asthma medication and had an unexpected episode. I walked breathlessly into this pharmacy and was met with kind concern and helpfulness. The pharmacist Eric Esterbrook offered to call my home pharmacy and was able to transfer my prescription and supply my need promptly. He was compassionate and professional. I highly recommend this pharmacy. It is obviously more than a job to Eric and his staff. It is their calling!

I started going to West Reading Drug about 3 months ago, due to issues at my former chain drug store. The staff is always nice and very sweet, the pharmacists are knowledgable and friendly when you need help or advice. The delivery service is beyond my expectations. The drivers are nice and friendly, always greet you with a smile! (Which is great for me, since I cant drive) The store is cute and quaint, and always clean. Thank you West Reading drug for being the best! I would give 10 stars if I could!
