Great breakfast place! Lots of variety, can't wait to try everything! Very good coffee, a great value and a real "diner" experience. Love this place, will be back often and I hope you try it!!

Horrible service. There was a guy standing watching our tables because of our “look” assuming we would probably leave without paying. So they legit had someone posted out watching our every move until we paid and left. I will also add that when we were given our check it was cash only so I had to find the same guy to get change and we asked if he could maybe make a suggestion to the owner to put a “cash only sign” out front after we waited with a debit card on the table for 10 mins, he got extremely rude and upset and threw the money back on the table. Owner wrote back to this post but he was waiting at the front the entire time we waited for a table but as soon as two groups got sat that were not the societal norm, he stood there and stared.

Absolutely terrible! Service was bad, place was dirty. We weren’t even asked if we wanted coffee or anything else to drink other than the water the hostess gave us. Waitress knew nothing about the menu. A couple of people at my table didn’t even receive their meals yet and everyone else had already finished. The waitress was paying no attention to us, so she didn’t even notice. Never came to ask how things were until we were done, and then we finally got to tell her they never got their food! She apparently forgot to write it down. Never gave us silverware, so I asked for it when our food came and she threw some plastic forks on the table. Real classy! The food was not even good, can’t believe I paid $10 for avocado toast with watery avocado and an unripe tomato! We asked for separate checks and she said she couldn’t do that, although my parents and aunt and uncle were sitting at a different table, and she was able to do separate checks for them. ?? When we got our bill, all it said was “food”…$10.50 “Food”….$11.25, etc. NO description of what food it actually was so it was hard to figure out splitting up the bill. I could go on, but you get the point. Way better places in block island that you could be eating breakfast at! Oh and BTW it’s cash only!!

Best breakfast on the island. Gets busy be patient. Once in usually pretty quick. The corned beef hash is not like classic hash just as a heads up depending on what you are looking for may or may not be worth it

Typical greasy spoon which was what I was expecting. Scrambled eggs were fluffy and good, but the sausage and potatoes were burned. Came early and was seated quickly, server was attentive. Coffee was not undrinkable but not great. Good location, indoor and outdoor seating options, outdoor seating is on a covered balcony which is nice. Would probably come again but only after trying a few other places to see how it compared.

CASH ONLY!!!! Walking in I got the feel of a small town eatery, where they definitely have their regulars. They have seating in the back part of the restaurant which has an enclosed sunroom feel and then the main part of the restaurant. I played it safe and went with French toast and bacon. It was good, nothing to say it was great. Fair priced. It took 30 minutes to get our food. I'm guessing they are busy for a reason, I'm just not sure if it's a place I would go back to each time I have breakfast.

One of if not the best place to get a home cooked breakfast on the island. Pancakes, home fries, and so much more made just the way I would get back home. Reasonably priced food and they open early. Great place to sit in and just enjoy a nice breakfast before you get your day started.

When I give stars, especially five stars, they are not all equal…. Rather they are rating my experience in the type of restaurant I’m eating in….This place is served by a short order cooks who artfully prepare a breakfast with perfection. In terms of breakfast joints, old school breakfast places…. Perfection.

I went here twice during my trip! The food is good, it’s reasonable prices but the wait was a bit long. I can definitely tell this is a community diner that the locals love. The reason why I am giving it 4 stars is because the diner wasn’t all that clean. Especially with COVID-19 still being prevalent, I would expect restaurants to take cleaning more seriously.

Excellent food and service. Stopped here for breakfast after getting off the ferry. Was surprised and very happy to see vegan French toast and plant based sausage on the menu!!! It was delicious 😍 (they even provided vegan butter!)
