Home fries were burnt on everyones plates. The omelets were good. Would not return. Food : 2/5 | Service : 5/5 | Atmosphere : 3/5 … More

Our first ever visit. Great food! Great service! Comfortable atmosphere. Nice to see all the employees working together and being so kind to each other. We chose to sit at the counter. We watched as the cook handled many orders at the same time -- Eggs, omelettes, homefries, pancakes ... Her "helper" for lack of a better term, grilled sausage, bacon, steak, made the toast, English Muffins and bagels. I think he also did the waffles. Great team work from everyone. We stopped by just because we were in a line waiting to get the oil changed on the car. It turns out it was a great wait! We will go back! Kid-friendliness: Good place for kids. Have kids menu.

Rooftop breakfast in Wakefield. Not much else to say. But I will. The food was really really good. Wish I'd found this little treasure earlier! Next time there, Phil's will be a stop. Worth the wait!

5 of us went for breakfast August 19th. We were seated upstairs. We ordered pretty typical breakfast items. The waitress was pleasant. Some of the silverware was greasy. Our biggest complaint was that nothing was hot. We asked for our coffees to be reheated and they were a little warmer. The toast was cold, the eggs, bacon and hash browns were barely lukewarm. The order of pancakes was barely warm to the touch and the sausages were actually cool. We asked for that to be reheated, the plate was gone for several minutes and when it was returned, there was no improvement in the pancakes (soft butter didn't melt at all) and the sausages had improved from cool to lukewarm. None of us ate more than half of our meals. Cold eggs and pancakes are unappetizing. The waitress was aware that things were cold, asked if the pancakes were any better. We responded no and she said that she didn't know what was going on. It was $18 per person, before tip.

What was supposed to be a lovely morning shared between college alumna was really disrupted by a rude older hostess who not only dumbed down the concept of a liability to us but followed us to the deck to throw away our drinks from Caf up the street. We were nearly finished with our drinks and would have thrown them away before we were served! Fortunately our waitress was very sweet but we did have to ask for water and utensils twice after throwing away 8$ drinks. The ‘avocado toast’ was lacking in avocado as well. We’ll definitely be going somewhere else if we return to the area.

Great lunch outside upstairs, we decided to try it based on Google reviews, impressive BLT and cold beer, we'll be back. Explained our experience to my father, he said he goes there for breakfast when his car is being serviced. He doesn't use Google reviews only word of mouth (older generation) so I figured I'd give 2 reviews at once. It's his go to when he is in that area.

Walked in and immediately seated for lunch upstairs, big menu, lots to choose from. Food was good, server nice and plenty of parking in the back

They’re so good with the bar! I was a bit overwhelmed by the fact that I didn’t make reservations but they brought us in and we had a fantastic meal:)

Not awful, but expected better. Used to go here fairly regularly for breakfast, but haven't been since they remodeled and added the rooftop seating next door. Went for lunch and it was empty, so the servers seemed bored. While friendly, they did leave us waiting longer than normal, talking to each other instead of checking back on us in a timely manner. The food was just okay. The nachos came out in a large platter, but something seemed to taste a little "off" about them. My friend's fish and chips was pretty dark, so either down too long, or the oil was too hot. May have been a one-time thing? The portion was good. I had the Turkey Club. It wasn't bad. A little bland, but typical diner plate, overall. When we asked for water, the server told us they only had bottled, which seemed odd, but later, when my friend asked for a Dr. Pepper, she reminded us that there was a boil water order in the area. Which was fine, but my friend ended up being charged 2.69 for a can of Coke. That's fine for unlimited fountain refills, but for one warm can of Coke, it's a little much. Like I said, it wasn't awful, but we probably won't return. We'd remembered it as being a better place back when it was just plain old Phil's, the breakfast place.
