We have rented the largest pull-behind u-haul trailer from this dealer in Vermillion numerous times over several years; the first time was back in 2007, 2 or 3 different weekends that year, again in 2014, more recently in 2019 & again in 2020. These people have always been wonderful to work with, answer our questions, make sure we know what we're doing, whether our vehicle can handle it, make sure everything is hooked up & functioning properly & very reasonably priced, especially compared to other locations in nearby larger cities. I don't even bother to call any other business, even if I'm heading in the opposite direction & there are other dealers along my route, I go 20 miles to Vermillion to give them my business.

I really appreciated all the help that they gave us here! They were very professional helped us with any questions and helped us hook up the tow to the uhaul truck! We had a couple bad experiences with the ones in Yankton (where we are from) so we came up to Vermillion and I am not upset about using the extra miles what-so-ever!

Scott and another person (whose name I forgot, sorry) at Uhaul in Vermillion has been the biggest help to me for the past few days. I have had serious, important questions about trailers and hitches, and they have been clear, courteous, concise and affordable. I am very grateful and impressed by ther candor, knowledge, great customer service and prices. Previous to this, I had spoken with "specialists" in trailers and hitches who did not answer my question and tried to sell me the most expensive product. But at UHAUL in Vermillion, my questions were directly answered, and I was given the best price available. Thank you so much! This has been a welcome relief in the day of customer no-service. Keep up the great work guys, it will keep me coming back and I will recommend you to anyone who may have trailer, hitch or hauling questions!

I was (and STILL AM) VERY unhappy with my experience with the U-haul location in Vermillion, SD. I had booked my move MONTHS in advance. I booked a 17 foot truck in January for a move at the end of JUNE! When it came time to move, THEY DIDN'T HAVE A TRUCK LARGER THAN 14 FEET!!!!! Suffice it to say that I was not able to FIT everything I owned into the truck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am STILL missing items from my move to this day! I had to leave a lot of boxes with random family (meaning unknowingly spread out, not that I don't know my family) and since I moved so far away, I have not been able to recover my items. I tried EVERY OTHER U-haul service within 100 miles, but because of my move date, EVERYTHING was unavailable (HENCE why I had booked nearly 6 months in advance)!!! NOT TO EVEN MENTION that going through Vermillion INSTEAD of Sioux Falls costed NEARLY DOUBLE the amount for a SMALLER TRUCK!!!!! So not only did it cost me ALMOST $700 (compared to around $350 ish) to move!!!!! I didn't even get what I had booked!!!! THE ONLY COMPENSATION THEY GAVE ME was an upgrade from a front tow (for my car) to a full body tow (AND THEY STILL CHARGED ME $10 FOR THE UPGRADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) I am beyond FURIOUS and it has been almost a year since my move and I still get extremely upset over this!!!!!! DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!!!! It is EXTREMELY CHEAPER to just go a little out of your way to Sioux Falls!!!!! (ALSO, SAME MOVE - THE FIRST TRUCK THEY GAVE ME WAS SO MESSED UP IN THE ALIGNMENT THAT YOU HAD TO FIGHT IT TO STAY ON THE ROAD!!!!! They told me that there was nothing WRONG with it 'but they would still exchange it'; the new truck at least actually worked!)
