It's always a mess. Everything is just thrown on displays or not properly placed back. Clean as you go is not a thing here. Additionally, you will always find the employees talking up front as if there were not a mess to organize. A little at a time would go a long way. It's not terrible, but it's not the best place. Good for thar quick pickup, if you can find the item.

My family and I used to shop at this store on a weekly basis, but so many problems have occurred. The shelves are impossible to get to because all of the new stock is parked in front of them, unpacked. The floors have not seen a broom or mop in probably years, and the ceiling is falling apart in some places. And just to add insult to injury, my mom walks in, as she has many times before, carrying her backpack. The cashier at the register, who none of us know personally, told her that she would have to leave her backpack (containing money, her phone, and other valuable items) at the front next to him. The manager told her this was because people had been shoplifting. There were NO other purses up at the front with him, and there were many women in the store with purses. It is absolutely the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. The store is disgusting and obviously the manager and cashier are picking and choosing who they decide keeps their personal belongings. The manager even held the door open for a lady who was also carrying a backpack while my mom was talking to him and he said “come on in guys”. I have never in my life heard of something so ridiculous.

Love Dollar general store on Blackburn. I go to all of the Dollar general stores to find only two things that is butterscotch and Peter pan peanut butter with the honey in it that is the best stuff ever but I don't always find it there but when I do I load up. All I asked Dollar general store on Blackburn please keep it in stock the butterscotch, Peter pan with the honey in it it is the best please please please keep it in stock and I will buy it I drive all the way from tunnel Hill road out past Black Fox School just to come and visit you guys to get those two things that I need. And when I do find both of them there I load up. If you guys don't have it I'll go to the next Dollar general store. Thank you so much for having all the stuff that I need in case of emergencies not always get it but most of the time I do. Love you guys keep the good work up bring that peanut butter in and butterscotch.

Needs to be cleaner and please get half your inventory out of the floor. I haven't been in that often, but it's always crowded, messy and out of half the things I'm looking for. No idea how so much inventory is always sitting around in boxes and the shelves seem to stay half-empty.

I'm really sick of having to move buggies out of my way just to get down aisles. It's really annoying I know they have to stick shelves which is fine. I get that. But almost every aisle was blocked and I couldn't get to the ones I needed to.. need a new game plan..

The store is so cluttered it's hard to walk. The cashier is very friendly. I just would love to be able to find what I'm looking for without dodging unpacked pallets.

I always feel out of place. It's super cramped as well as being quite a dinghy and not a well-lit store. The stock is not organized at all and is always a mess on the shelf/rack

Horrible store as far as back stock and un organization.. the spanish cashier deserves a raise she's awesome. Shes sweet to all customers very good employee treat her right!!

There's never any line to wate in, only thing is the inventory the middle of the aisle can't get the buggy down. The staff is always very polite.

Normally I enjoy stopping in a Dollar general. However, this particular store had several deficits. Obviously chronically understaffed, and it must have been a Freight day as well. Full of customers, but all waiting in line to be checked out, and the place was a mess. It is not normally like this, it was disheartening.
