First time…drove to Gastonia just for it. The DUCK CIGARS were perfect…I also ordered the MAIN EVENT salad with tenderloins (medium) and shrimp…steak was overcooked - barely even pink inside but at least it was tender…shrimp were okay but the greens weren’t consistent (see picture)…no way ANY of the lettuce should have looked like this. My order was to go…guy over the phone was super nice. Inside seems to be a vibe. I’m going to try brunch this weekend in hopes it will be better. Heard great things about this place…but my salad left much to be desired. The Duck Cigars and (I almost forgot) the Italian dressing were wonderful! Service was good. Salad was mid especially for the price. These days few places are consistent in every area. It’s a challenge with hiring folks to execute in the way you as the owner or manager would or expects. Anyway, they weren’t busy so I figured I was safe but like I said I will give them another chance (fingers crossed that brunch will be better)

Atmosphere is amazing and fun... it's fairly quiet, intimate and warm feeling (unlike most modern places that feel cold). The history is fun. Has free valet parking. The food was very good, especially for the price! Highly recommended you visit and give Webb Cusotom Kitchen a try!

Devin was my bar tender and he did a wonderful job to say the least. He had great drink suggestions and exceptional execution. My dinner and dessert paired well with my drinks and the overall conversation, selection and atmosphere was refreshing. He easily could have paid no mind to me, but instead went out of his way to engage in conversation. 10/10 would recommend this establishment to anyone in the area. Vegetarian options: You can easily customize a dish to be vegetarian friendly if you didn't like the options already presented. Parking: Valet parking is offered, but not required. A public parking lot is located near by. Dietary restrictions: An abundance of gluten-free options are available

A really cool experience! Service was great, but the food was slightly disappointing. Loved the complimentary valet though! And my favorite part was the interesting atmosphere. Our waitress told us the history, which I found to be very interesting. I love restaurants that were previously something else like a bank, but in this case its a theatre. Service: Good service, water was barely empty and food came out in a timely manner. Waitress was very nice. In terms of the service I received when I walked in, I was not a fan. The host talked to me in this angry tone. We were a younger party, but I expect to be treated the same. Artisan bread (7/10): Decent bread to start. I didn’t like how I had to pay for it though. It was OK bread, nothing special. Duck Cigars (6/10): Pretty good. I liked the sauces. But the cigars didn’t have much of a duck taste, instead it tasted like a vegetable spring roll. Lamb rack (5/10): Eh, pretty OK. Good flavors in the sauce, and the lamb was tender. BUT, it was cooked way off… Asked for med-rare and got blue rare. Kinda disappointing for the price and reputation this place has. I don’t like to send food back because then you eat when your party is already done. Also, for the price, I was expecting an entire rack. Truffle fries (8/10): Great fries a bit too much cheese though. I love truffle fries but these had too much cheese imo. So I think this place is cool and all, but experience was lacking. I’ve heard great things about this place, but my experience wasn’t that good. I would like to re-try this place sometime again, but for now I have to keep the low rating.

If I could give this restaurant 10 stars I would. EVERYTHING was excellent; food, service, atmosphere. They even have valet parking. I ate the food before remembering to take photo. I had the Honey Hunter Chicken served with field peas and collard greens. What’s interesting is this was an old theater. They remodeled and if on 2nd floor you can still watch old movies on big screen. I’m almost speechless and plan to visit again on my way back to MS. Highly, highly recommend eating here and spending time just enjoy the scenery!!! There will be a wait if evening but you can always sit at bar, have a drink or appetizer and wait for table. You can also make a reservation. You have gotta go!!!

Hubby an I went an tried this restaurant while we were here visiting from out of town. Experience was amazing from walking in to sitting at the bar, so professional, loved all the bartenders greated us with a smile an made amazing recommendations from our drink the Castaway, to appetizer the mozzarella grill an wedge salad, to the entree surf n turf pasta! Amazing food an atmosphere. Will definitely visit again when we come back to visit!

This place is amazing. Everything from the food, drinks and atmosphere. Only thing I wish is that whatever is on the movie screen is what is coming thru the speakers. It’s a great place for a date or girls night. But be warned if you want seating upstairs there is no accessibility for handicap, no elevators or anything so only limited to downstairs seating.

Colin was our server and he was excellent. The food was amazing. Allie, the bartender, made the best Bing Manhattan martini, I had to have two. The atmosphere was perfect! My daughter and I didn't know what to expect, but it wasn't this. We were blown away. You won't regret this visit if you decide to go. I can't wait to go back. Features: Most didn't wear mask. Sitting has nice appropriate spacing

What a wonderful experience. You will not be disappointed everything from watching your food being prepared to the excellent wait staff was superb. And hearing all about the history of the building. The food here is delicious and life changing.

No words can describe how good Webb Custom Kitchen is. This place rivals any of the upscale Charlotte restaurants. The food and atmosphere was fantastic. We sat up top and could look down and see into the kitchen. The building must have been an old theater, which was pretty cool. Aaron the manager stopped by and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. Overall 10/10.
