We came in a large group and had 2 very professional and friendly waiters. They did a great job with service and getting us everything we needed. The overall food seemed over priced for the quality of flavor and tenderness of the steaks. The appetizers were excellent especially the calamari and stuffed mushrooms. The salad bar was very nice too. We ordered the salmon special that night and it was just ok. The Ribeye steaks were all cooked to the correct temperature but were very tough and chewy with minimal seasoning. The prime rib was a big hit with some of our group as well as the NY strip.

Our first time eating here and it WILL NOT be the last. Amazing atmosphere, the outdoor fire pit while we waited for our table just built us up for what was to come. Everyone we came in contact with were warm and inviting. Then our server showed up and did she ever! Catherine hands down provided us with the best service we have experienced in quite some time! She has great personality, knowledge of the dishes and what goes into their preparation and being our first time we did ask for her recommendations and she was spot on! And we never had the chance to want for anything, she was always right on time with drinks, etc. It would have been a great meal without her, but she made it amazing! Thank you for an amazing dinner to celebrate our anniversary!

Absolutely wonderful restaurant with great staff. Call ahead for a reservation. We didn't and they still fit us in... We ordered 2 appetizers, stuffed mushrooms and fried deviled eggs, side salads for both, I ordered a steak that was perfect, with onions and mushrooms on the side and a loaded baked potato, he ordered shrimp and (steak or chicken) alfredo. He never orders pasta and was impressed, said it tasted homemade and was delicious. We also order a regular and smoked amaretto sours, and a beer. Would highly recommend for a fine dining experience...

Loved the salad bar!!! My husband and I ordered the fish n chips & the shrimp skewers. Wasn’t a huge fan of the breading on the fish nor of my over cooked twice baked potato BUT the salad bar made up for all of that. Would go back in a heartbeat! If weather permits sit outside fireside with a glass of wine pre/post dinner.

Incredibly delicious food in a lovely building nestled in a quaint mountain town. You will not be disappointed. Great date night or special occasion destination. I brought my wife here 26 years ago to propose to her on Valentine’s Day. (Real original…I know 😜) We often return on Valentine’s Day each year along with our three sons. Enjoy!

Ate here for an early valentine's day dinner. Jillian was a fantastic server, very attentive and helpful with suggestions. The food was delicious and so were the drinks! Would highly recommend the peanut butter cup martini, the scallops, crab cakes, and the fried deviled eggs.

Hands down amazing! Everyone was exceptionally friendly and professional, the food was beyond delicious and cooked to perfection 🔥 we finished off our steak meal with a dessert recommendation from our waitress Heather, black cherry cheescake & espresso! It was BOMB 💣 no other words needed. Get the cheescake 🤯

Logan was nice and keep positive. The food was absolutely horrible. Bread was cold - sent back— got cold bread again. First Alfredo had flavor but check was so hard and rubbery. Asked for a replacement. No flavor and chicken again was tough as rubber. So sad. Passed on dessert. Not a great experience.

Great place for a date night. It was our first time being there and the waitress we had was awesome. The food was so good. Definitely a nice cozy place and well worth the hour drive. Definitely listen to reviews and get the fried deviled eggs. Also crab cake appetizer was phenomenal for my first time eating crab. The pork chop was better then the steak! Whatever sayce/gravy they use on it, it made the entire meal for me! If you are ever in the Banner Elk/Boone area, definitely give this place a try!

Huge bourbon selection, one important note though, it is incredibly expensive. Highly over priced. For a two ounce pour they charge $30. Right next door at the Tavern you can get the same 2 oz pour for $11 to $15 depending on the brand. The manager did adjust my bill to $20 for the bourbon after I complained. I hear it's known for great steak. I had seared tuna, oysters on the half shell and my wife had crab cakes. The food was good, not great but reasonably priced. The service was outstanding. Nice quiet ambience. Looking forward to coming here again.
