I had a terrible experience using the Cleveland, Tn store to order a kitchen counter top and a master bath vanity top. Previous experience using HD for similar updates at my previous homes in NY was great and therefore I used HD again. After the Technician measured for the fabrication, I received a call from HD informing me an additional $1350 must be paid before the work continued. Driving 36 miles to determine the cause of this increase, it was found the sales person never included the vanity top in the initial pricing. That portion was cancelled and we issued a credit of $409 instead. After leaving the store to return home, we again received a phone call now stating another error was made and we instead owed HD $412. This required giving our credit card info over the phone which we never have done in the past. But I also had to make the long drive 3 times to return the sink which is now unnecessary, the first drive to determine the problem and again as I had to make the initial drive to pick up the sinks involved in the uipdate. What really is sad, the fabricator phone me to let me know that the dept supervisor was going to call me to apologize. No phone call was ever received. Truly I would not return to this store.
