The cashier was very friendly, but the overall store was kind of a mess, and there really wasn't much of a selection to choose from on the few shelves that weren't completely empty. Strangely, this location recently underwent a "remodeling/reopening", but it still looks and feels pretty rough inside the store, not to mention that air-conditioning barely works. If you're in a pinch, this place might get you by for a few basic/common items, but honestly I'd probably just hit up the big chain grocery store that's less than a mile down the road.

Since the remodel its amazing the girls turned that store around I think a raise or party or something huge shoukd be given they are busy at it and it looks amazing .

This Family Dollar is always clean and the ladies who run the store are always 1000% kind and respectful. I'd rather buy from here, rather than go all the way to Walmart and possibly get something cheaper.

This location has been totally reset on the inside configuration. Much better look and feel to layout.

This store is awesome. I go here to pick up basic odds and ends when I don't feel like going far from home. I keep coming back here, because the staff are super-nice, respectful, and attentive. I went in today, and the clerk there found everything within a few seconds of me asking for it - If you're curious, it was blank CD's - I just wanted to burn some mix-tapes. The clerk took me right to where they were, and then cashed me out. I go to this store because the staff are awesome. I could go to Dollar General, but every time I do, the staff look depressed and sad. So, I skip that store, and go to Family Dollar. I don't know what the difference is. I tend to think it's the people. At the Family Dollar in Harrison, the staff are excellent, and I had a great experience. :)

I walked in with my two little sisters, not even 2 minutes being in there I was accused of stealing by Debby. I told her she was welcome to go through my entire purse, I even pulled out everything in my bag and showed her. All she said was ok, no apology or anything. I'm a manager at Arby's, So I know a little bit about customer service. The way she walked up to me and flat out said I was stealing when I had not taken anything at all is unacceptable. I will be getting ahold of corporate, and they have lost my whole familie's business for good.
