Fun little place to go to with good sandwiches and drinks. It was lacking in seating and it was too expensive. I would still go back to it though.

Love this place! We always stop one for a giant deli sandwich whenever we go to the post office. The staff are so friendly! Oh, and those sandwiches are delish!

Just called Mountain Market after looking at their website to ask about a certain bourbon. Was told very nicely they don't sell bourbon. Hmmm, their website certainly shows several photos of liquor. Guess I'll have to shop somewhere else for that expensive bottle I'd hope to gift this year.

When the 2 sisters worked there, we received consistently good sandwiches & good service. However the last 2 times we called in an order, the lady hung up before we finished our order. We figured she was busy, but when we picked our very small sandwiches, the lady was rude & didn’t maintain eye contact. Disappointed . . . . We are willing to try again since it’s been good in the past.

It is a great location and very convenient and every time I go I hope to like it more. I think it is important to support small businesses. Unfortunately it is very expensive, which is expected since there is no competition. They do have a variety of items at this small store. There is even a deli/ meat market but the made salad I bought was not very good and costly. The service is poor and the many times I have been here there is always a wait to pay with no customers or one other customer. The staff is not friendly or helpful. More of a gas station market. It has so much potential...

For a small store, this charming market has a very good selection of basic food and home items, such as bread, milk, ketchup, detergent, toothpaste, etc. yet they also sell higher end delicacies, local produce, as well as delicious fare prepared on the premises. I am new to this area, and I was delighted to discover Market on the Mountain as a shopping option.

It's convenient, but the selection isn't very good (mostly mediocre quality options) and the prices are inflated (they often aren't even posted). Nice to have if you suddenly realize you don't have any milk for your biscuits, but I prefer a proper grocery store if I've got the time.

I love the market, but what I've found with the Spirits & Wine folks, they have no inclination to get what you ask for. I've gone in on almost a dozen occasions asking for a particular wine, and though they had it once, they never have it and they always say, "We're sold out." It's not an expensive wine, so maybe that's the problem.
