Since it was recently sold it’s gone downhill. No receipts at the pumps, place and bathroom are filthy, employees act miserable. Hate it when this happens.

everytime I walk in the door I get greeted with a hello from store side and from miss Flor on Laredo side. everybody is always in a good mood. they make awesome food and I will definitely always come to this store.

I was having a rough morning and left over $50 cash at this store. I called a few hours later and Kyle answered the phone - he already knew what happened and had the money waiting for me. I really appreciate him catching it, being honest and being on top of it when I called.

Brush from car wash fell on my car during wash and did over $1000 of damage. Clerk was unwilling to give me name or phone number of store manager. I have stopped by 3 times with no success. I tried contacting Stripes corporate and they do not return my calls or emails.

Beware by the car wash entrance/ drive thru for Schlotsky’s- the “arch” that use to be there to prevent tall vehicles from entering the car wash is gone but the plate and screws remain. 4 screws are sticking out of the metal plate on the ground. They’ll easily pop a tire. Clerks have been notified- hell, I even told the car wash guy working on the car wash. Still there.

I only stop here in absolute emergencies because the few times I have before were so completely unpleasant. Zero customer service with fewer social skills than God gave a rock! Thankfully the last two times I stopped by, Isaiah was working and made the ordeal bearable. For once I was acknowledged and didn't have to wait for an employee to finish a conversation or text. Finally a respectful employee.

I love the schlotskys next door but gas station seems to be understaff came here one week ago for tank of propane the employees walked out with me to the cages where they gave tanks they still had 3 or 4 tanks left so i was like yay! Im getting my propane today but turns out the guy didnt want to sell me the tank cause he felt he couldbt open the cage apperantly they were having issues with the key... so i guess they are too afraid to tell their boss the propane tank cage need a new lock or stripes cant afford to buy a lock this the 2nd time they told me this excuse... last time a nice cashier tried and go it to open😑😒

1st time visit and the last time. The store did not have coffee cups lids and no stirrers. How can you serve HOT coffee with no lids? The store did not appear to be as clean as it should be. I will spend my money at the Valero down the street off 1626.

Unfortunately the last few times I’ve been inside this store customer service has been terrible. Today there were 4 customers in in a line while both cashiers looked to be talking to another off duty employee who was standing in front of the first cashier. Last time I was the only customer in the store and the cashier didn’t even look up while I waited for her to finish her work on what I can only imagine was a long text. The time before that I had to go inside to get a receipt for the car wash code because the ribbon was out at the pump. The employee failed to mention the car wash was out of service. Before that the pump only allowed me to pump $6 then stopped and denied my attempt to to pump more gas by swiping my card again. Inside neither employee behind the counter stopped looking at their phones when I entered. One did say that she had seen that issue multiple times that day. Not sure why no one closed that pump...
