Should get no stars. I've been calling and apparently none works there to pick up phones. Tracked my package and apparently it still there since July 11. What seems to be the problem? I cannot stand this post office. I've been living in Dayton for 20 yrs and always have a problem when it comes to packages. C'mon people get it together

This s the worst post office ever. The people are so rude, especially the post master. They give the post office a bad name. They refuse to deliver packages and are rude when you have to go pick them up. They should all be fired

My sister and I pulled into the driveway at the same time as the postal carrier. She handed me our mail, and on the top? A "Sorry We Missed You" notice. She didn't even bring my parcel, and had the notice all ready to go. We also kept getting other people's mail a lot. Thankfully it doesn't happen as often now. We also had issues with some of the drivers going way too fast down our road. On the plus side, I tend to have pleasant interactions with most of the workers inside.

The mail doesn't go at any particular time of day. Some times in the morning and so and that makes it ruff if you are waiting for somethingmetimes between 7pm ....or 8pm or you don't get any mail at all and it comes the next day. And that makes it ruff if you are waiting for something to arrive so you can leave or important documents you.need. It is also hard to send items. They never get anywhere in a Timely matter that iwe.are

Absolutely terrible service. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. The staff completely refused to assist when they were capable of doing so. Of course you can't reach anyone by phone and cannot reach a central customer support. What a waste of taxpayer dollars.

They quick to put animal interference on a undelivered package. This is not the 1st time they done this. How can a animal interfere when this is a mount route. You driving a jeep to deliver my mail. Did the animal jump in your lap? SMH. (Dayton, Tx post office)

I don't think too much of this post office and mail carrier as mail and packages are misdelivered many , many times. Apparently the post master,Mr. Mcvey, can't get a handle on the carriers to get the mail delivered accurately.

This post-office is, hands down, the worst post office when it comes to customer service. Dayton Texas post office has managed to hire every bottom of the barrel post office worker in Texas 👏🏼. If you frequent this post office you can expect eye rolls by grown women and snarky comments in every response. Strong work ladies, it takes a lot of dedication and commitment to be so nasty and rude to every customer. Oh, and thanks for locking the doors early during normal business hours!

One star is generous. I've had several issues with this post office both with my home and workplace. They dont care about the townsfolk and are jus rude. Closing the doors early, not taking packages during hours and nasty employees. Driver's have been to my home plenty of times, yet I was told a package was held at the post office at the homeowner's request? No one came to my door or spoke to me so that's a lie. I get not wanting to do your job but people need their mail and bills. This is beyond ridiculous and the fact that nothing is ever done is absolutely disgusting. I've left complaints, yet it continues. Better off just dealing with your post in a PO box elsewhere. Update: Got a call from the postmaster asking to elaborate on my complaint where I mentioned there were a lot of issues with our post system. The kicker? It was 8:30 PM at night on a weekday. I dont want to spend my hours off talking about issues that are ignored regardless, which I told him before the call ended. If it matters, make time during the work day or follow up the next day. Or email. That information was available in the complaint file.
