This place has lost 3/5 packages I've had sent here. I've never experienced such a worthless and incompetent postal service before. Whoever is in chage here needs to get their act together. After reading other reviews it seems they really are stealing packages.

I had my 3 minors' passports processed here. Antonio was helpful, quick, and professional. He made a few copies for me and retook my kid's picture. I was thankful he didn't send me away like the last time I processed a passport at another local USPS office. It looks like they are understaffed because the line backed up a lot. Even though I had an appointment, I felt bad for being PART of the reason the line was so long.

Honestly if Tony ever quits ill never use this post office again because he's the only one behind the counter whos worth anything. I paided for a po box. I got my keys. I ordered items and had mail sent to the pox. Go to check it 2 weeks later and it still has blue lock out cover on the back and no one answers the phone to tell me why.

They are now holding my package since May 8th, 2021 and just sitting on it. Of course you can’t get someone to talk to. They also sit on my medications sent to me by the Veterans Hospital in Houston. The Post Office sure has gone to hell. I wouldn’t even give them 1 star but it won’t let me post.

There have been multiple days, sometimes in a row, that the mail carrier does not come down our street. Today for instance, July 2, 2020, there is no carrier. I know this for a fact because I have outgoing mail in my box with the flag up, it is 6:45 pm, and the flag has not moved. I walked out to the box, “benefit of the doubt”, nope, the outgoing mail is still there. Hello Bay City Post Office, it’s not like this is a huge town!! I don’t understand why it is so difficult for your carriers to do the job they were hired to do! I can’t even say this might be happening because of the pandemic because it’s been happening for the two years we’ve lived here. I suppose it might be because your carriers stop mid-shift and hang out at people’s houses. If you’d like, I’ll attach a picture tomorrow when I see her again one block over from my house. Or better yet, I’ll contact the main office. Either way, it’s not my job to make sure your employees do their job - it’s yours.

If I could give a 0 star I would. This place is a joke . The post master is so rude to his people. The workers are over worked and he don’t care. The mail is all messed up . Due to the post master. Although, He wasn’t nice and had no since of direction he has lost a lot of people because his lack of management. The main office in Houston didn’t care they are all a joke. Sorry for bay city people. Blame your post master not your carrier they are over worked and trying to do their best while he sits in a chair and yells at people. Not a good place .

After leaving a parcel in the mail to be collected the next day, I noticed it wasn't picked up after coming home from work. I then called the Post Office and asked if mail ran. I was told yes at which time said my mail was not picked up and the flag is still up on the mailbox. I was told I am a carrier too and sometimes the carriers do not see the flag up. Last time I looked, that's your job period. I said that is unacceptable and asked to speak to her supervisor. She said I am the supervisor! As federal employees, apparently nobody has held you accountable. What a pathetic excuse from a supervisor! Makes me wonder why you want to increase the price of stamps when you work half assed!

The people that deliver mail for this post office are some of the most incompetent people I have ever had the misfortune to come in contact with. They throw packages to the front door so they dont have to take a few extra steps, they cram packaged that do not fit in the mail box in it, and they will just leave packages in the driveway. So they have broken glass items, they have left things that shouldn't get wet in a cardboard box in the driveway to get rained on, and have crammed things so tightly in the mail box that I had to rip a box apart to even get it dislodged. *EDIT* After multiple complaints the lady that delivered mail to my office has become much nicer, and actually picks up the mail now. Unfortunately, the carrier that delivers to my house still thinks leaving mail in my driveway is a great idea. I have complained about multiple damages because of this because I have a covered front porch that is only a few steps farther, but that carrier is lazy and would rather ruin my mail/packages than take a few extra steps. A few weeks ago they slid a box across the hood of my car, and left all of my mail sitting on the hood of my car.

Until recently my service has been great. Seems like the past month or so,since i got a new mail carrier, my mail doesnt get picked up several days of the week. This is out of pure laziness of the new carrier. Because my daughter was outside he yelled and asked her if we had outgoing mail. Of course we did why else would the flag on my mailbox be up? However it is not my daughters job to carry the mail to this lazy postal worker. It also seems that my mail runs later and later, and some days not at all.
