Superb shop! Staying one night in 'unble. Drove here. Huge, clean shop with tons of vegan food and 100% of everything else. Also, self driving floor cleaner, so fun! Loved it!

It's like walking into a neighborhood grocery store in Mexico or Central America. Nice selection of regional items, fantastic little restaurant inside, homemade tortillas on Saturdays and Sundays, and homemade tamales everyday. Their meat market has a lot of variety. And employees are super nice. You can practice your Spanish.

I was eating some tacos in this location this morning and observed a lady coming out of the cooler carrying food in silver trays. Some of the Vegetables that appeared to but already cut fell on the floor. The lady just picked up the Vegetables from the floor and put back into the container. After a few minutes there was a big pot on the stove and just put all the Vegetables in the pot which mind you were in an open container not covered so never saw her wash them. This place is were I but Meat from the Market and food from the Taqueria. I will never return here ever again. I asked to speak to a manager who I saw there but when I asked they said the manager was not in!

Excellent staff, excellent food, excellent prices. I go there as often as I can to pick up grocery’s and eat in their restaurant often. The best store in Houston

We went for Barbacoa this past weekend and I've pulled 4 pieces of aluminum foil from the 2 pounds we got. Ain't no telling how many pieces me and my kids ate prior. The Barbacoa in previous years has been excellent but recently has been of poor quality, it is dry and bland. I excepted this because I would add flavor to make it taste better (but I shouldn't have too) but the aluminum foil is just ridiculous! This is no better then their store on Mesa rd. Serving maggots in the pork!

I am a frequent costumer here. Loved this place but today at 9:20 pm I tried to come in to buy 2 items. Online it shows that this place closes at 9:30 pm but 10 minutes before the cashier tied a plastic bag to the door to keep it from opening; which is not visible from outside the door so I attempted to open it and this lady yelled from inside the store. She came to the door looking upset, saying stuff and locked the door. Very poor customer service skills. I understand that she wanted to go home but really?? 🤦🏻♀️

Been going here for nearly 5 years never had any issues. Cashier Mary was trying to hand me the coke boxes. I'm like how am I supposed to pay if I'm holding two big boxes. And she had this bad attitude about it. I nearly walked out. Please do better, fix your attitude leave that at the house!

Edited 9/1/20 - Still my favorite taco bar and market. I shop here often and eat here several times a week. Nice, clean place with prompt, friendly service, great food, and excellent prices. They have the best verduras/fresh vegetables in the area, and the meat market is second to none. They have some of the best food in the area in their taco bar. You can eat there or take it out. The breakfast tacos are inexpensive and delicious, as are their breakfast special plates. The selection for lunch and dinner can't be beat: tacos, caldos (soups), or platillos (plates), Everything is delicious, the servings ample, and food well-prepared. NB: They had to take out the salsa bar for the COVID. [I wrote: There is a very well-equipped salsa bar, too, with six salsas and lots of condiments.] Just ask for salsa. I have been eating here for over two years, and I never get tired of it, with the huge selection of dishes and all the excellent flavors. They serve the best pozole in the area by far, when it's available. Always ask. I'm hoping they will re-institute the Thursday Pozole Special, as it is sorely missed by this aficionado. The ordering process can be a little intimidating, but don't sweat it. You just pay for the food at the register before you order it...so go pick out what you want first, then go back to checkout and tell the clerk so she can ring it up for you and give you a ticket. Then you take your ticket back to the taco bar and they will prepare it for you. They keep the seating area spotless, and there are plenty of paper towels, if you enjoy your food as much as I do :-). Definitely give this place a try. Don't be intimidated by the ordering process or the fact it's a taco bar in a food store. It's really one of the undiscovered treasures in the Humble area.

This meat market has the best tacos in humble! They’re huge and the ladies who serve you do not skimp on the meat. The tacos are about $2.19 each which is on the pricier side compared to other places I’ve been to, but you definitely get what you pay for

Do Not Go To This Store!!!!!!! Do Not Buy From This Store!!!! Every time I go to this store I'm being over charged. Yes, pay attention because the clerk will manually over charge you. She charged me $89 for a few pieces of bread. I think it was less than 10 pieces of bread. So, make sure you are not distracted with your kids, phone and make sure you are paying attention while at register. O and if you order Barbacoa it comes with Salsa. But, they will say it's out so you can purchase it for $4 something. And they have salsa at there taco stand and look at you dead in the eye and say you have to buy it. Initially I was going to order the Barbacoa from the taco stand but they told me to just go to the meat section. But, I was in a good mood so I went back there. Maybe it was because I'm Mexican American. I will never go to this store again. It has been awhile since I've been to this store but I couldn't remember why I hadn't been here for awhile. Until today. And the MILK we bought there went bad in less than 2 days from purchase. Save you a headache. ***Do Not BUY from this Store****
