If your traveling west on I-10 I recommend you drive a little further to a safer Gas Station. There intersection of hwy 62 and 10 has a few nicer locations. This place gets robbed frequently. Folks hang around and pan handle. I witnessed a crack head chasing down an old lady for change in the parking lot. She seemed to feel extremely threatened. I tried to call the store and the person who answered the phone just hung up on me. I called the cops and they showed up because the description of the guy matched a person of interest.
