We arrived at 9:45pm (quick 5 min tan since they stupidly close at 10pm on a Saturday), and the lights were off already and she very bubbly said we were too late (as if she takes pleasure in telling ppl no), and she had closed down “the system” early to not allow check-in. There was plenty of time to give customer service and close on time. She did that last time we were there also—shut off the lights early while people were still working out. When I said I’d look into if that was VASA policy, she made some rude comment to her friends standing there.

Pretty decent, the staff is very nice but there aren’t enough weights in this gym. Every bench rack is stripped clean usually with hardly any 45s Also, not nearly enough space for deadlifts and squats.

I haven’t had any problems at this gym, it’s actually one of my favorite places to be. The employees are friendly and if you’re a regular the make sure to know your name. They always offer a smile and say nice things. I think it’s a great environment whether you’re a beginner in the gym, or are experienced. I feel very welcomed and accepted every time I come here.

The cardio machines are so dirty. It's like they haven't been cleaned in years and the front desk staff were literally just sitting at the front desk doing nothing. You'd think it should be a requirement to wipe down the machines daily by the staff especially after a pandemic. The benches are worn out and falling apart. The womens restroom had many toilets without toilet paper. This was my first experience I had and I was not impressed. Also, when I signed up they charged me a fee in which I didn't know what it was for and no one explained it to me. As I was under the impression there was no sign up fee and my monthly membership would be $39.99. But there are hidden costs. The gym does the job for now but I'm not sure I'll be sticking around for long.

Very shady and unethical business practices. As others have mentioned, their cancellation process is difficult to get through. I cancelled after one month and kept getting charged and it was because of a "family account" that I had set up in the beginning which I was told wouldn't cost any extra. I ended up having to pay multiple extra fees and months of membership that I never used. I got on the phone and emailed them multiple time and they always said that I had already cancelled. If I cancelled was was I still getting these charges? Either there's extremely unethical behavior at play or they're straight up incompetent. I will be recommending against anybody ever using this trash of a service.

Convenient location and friendly staff, but they have got to start reinvesting in their facility! Machines are down for months at a time and the plates are all falling apart. It's packed after 5, so they've got the business. Today, all the urinals were down as well. Lastly, the hot tub looks like it could use a good scrub.

Only $9.99 a month!! Just kidding, here's a 50 dollar annual fee 2 months after signing up, and a $25 cancelation fee. First time I signed up they required me to take a "test" where they see my strength and range of motion with a personal trainer, even though I asked not to. Nice people but come on please mind your own space and let me workout. Also tried calling them to deactivate my account and it felt like I was defusing a time bomb. Would not recommend this shady business to anyone, they lie to you about fees and will not waive them even if you try negotiating on call with a representative.

Edit: I’m editing my review because after I posted this they did let me cancel my membership without the extra fees. Every vasa around the area is always completely packed. It’s so much hassle to even get a good workout in between waiting for parking and then equipment. I’ve been a member for over 4 years trying to make it worth it but they tack on lots of hidden fees and make it impossible to cancel without paying for the whole next month even when I’m cancelling because the gym is practically unusable it’s so busy.

Do not get a membership with VASA. I made it clear day one that I did not want the free personal training they offer one time and wanted to do my own thing. I show up and two people are following me around and trying to schedule the personal training session. I told them I didn’t want that and they got awkward and made it sound like it’s mandatory when they first told me I didn’t have to. When I knew I wasn’t going to stay with vasa I went through a ridiculously long and convoluted cancellation process through the app and eventually had to talk with someone on the phone to really cancel regardless and specified I was moving. I paid the cancellation fee and finally got my membership cancelled. Still got texts from them and noticed months later I am still getting charged a monthly membership after cancelling. I spoke with a manager who confirmed they see I cancelled months ago and suggested contacting support with proof. As a response they told me I was still getting charged for my husband. I signed up for a membership and added his name in case and he never once used the membership. I know several people who were unknowingly getting charged by VASA after thinking they froze their membership or cancelled. One membership one card but a nice work-around for taking a little extra by making you pay the cancellation fee for each individual if not unknowingly continue to pay for them. Way to treat ‘family.’

The cadio equipment is a joke there are only 6 stair machines and 3 are not working 2 of which haven't been for 9 months! And then there are the many treadmills that are out of order. Today I counted 9. Good luck getting a machine r after 5. Fix your machine vasa, please! On a better note the staff is very friendly and kind.
