Darren at SVS has been my mechanic for over 15 years. He is down to earth, honest, and provides quality service. I grew up helping out in my father's mechanic's shop and have owned a long line of old cars that inevitably need work. It is refreshing to not have to stress about my car's repairs, being misled into having repairs done that I don't need, or being over charged. The absolute best mechanic in the Burlington area. I wouldn't trust my vehicle to ANYONE else. I cannot stress enough how honest SVS is, and how stellar their work is. They do not overcharge and only do the work that is necessary - I never need to worry about being ripped off or having work done that didn't need it.

THIS MECHANIC IS A LOWLIFE THAT DOES SLOPPY WORK. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS ME! BEWARE!!! SVS put the wrong transmission fluid in my Jeep. Also charged me for a kit that included a gasket which was a complete LIE. Had to take my Jeep to MIDAS for the right transmission fluid, GASKET and to fix the mess SVS caused. Darren refused to give me a full refund (charged for an invisible gasket and the wrong transmission fluid) which doesn't surprise me since this shop is shady.

After years of trying mechanic after mechanic in town, my wife and I have finally found one that we trust with our cars. SVS was very highly recommended by pretty much everyone I asked, and with good cause. Not only was I NOT sold a bill of goods on unnecessary repairs, which is pretty standard M.O. around here, but they also specifically didn't charge me to do something I'd asked for, since it wasn't actually needed! An honest mechanic?!?!? Yup.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I have been to more than 10 different places for my car checkup and servicing and have always been ripped . No service station got me a bill less than $300-500 in the past even though my Honda accord is just few years old. This guy is very HONEST and is very very very reasonable and will only tell issues if it really exist. Definitely recommended.

Darren is super accommodating and honest. I was looking to buy a used car for my nephew and he looked it over and gave me the full scoop on what was going on... he saved us lots of time and money. I have always had great experiences and would highly recommend him!

I have had Daren do work on 2 cars since I moved back to town- about 5 years ago. His work is sometimes 2/3 to half the price of other places and he never does more than is really needed. He gets you in quick for the repairs and is very nice. I would not hesitate to recommend him and his shop. I feel lucky that someone told me about him.

Honest vehicle mechanic who is interested in more than the quick buck. I have had these guys take care of two pretty significant repairs and both times was quoted a fair price for the work (both with parts I already had, and when they purchased the parts). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to a friend and will continue to bring my vehicle here for service.
