Well staffed and relatively large selection, items seemed overpriced for brand or condition. Did not have a manual juicer (or an electric on for that matter), but can't fault them for that. Came out with nothing - and that's saying a lot for me (a thrift shopaholic).

Ever since 2nd Avenue opened, it has become our go-to thrift store. It's probably the largest, most well organized thrift store around the northern Virginia area. Most prices are a bargain although there is inconsistency in pricing [very often you can find the exact same item priced differently]. Staff is mostly helpful, and management seems care enough to provide [re]training to the staff/associates when they become aware of a problem [assisting with unpriced items has improved, for example] saying all that, I am not a fan of self-checkout and they need more than two cash check out stations. One day, I'll check out one of their other locations.

Can't do no stars. Does not support the military, left purchases in cart and left. This close to so many bases and military families struggling and they can't give them a military discount, will not support them. They get the stuff for free and then overprice it. You guys can do better

Great store to browse in. Lots of stuff. I feel like clothes were too high but other things seemed reasonable priced.

I used to drive an hour to get here and LOVED it but they jacked the prices up sky high! I could get some of these hints brand new and pay less 🤷♀️ The people that work there seem annoyed and you have to ring yourself up at self check out which is ridiculous. I’m assuming everyone has to pay more for clothes to pay off the machines that make you be your own cashier…. Ridiculous.

Good selection but the customer service is terrible. I tried to purchase an item today, noticed it didn't have a tag, so I asked if it could please be priced. The young man at the counter said he couldn't (and that's perfectly fine, probably didn't have the access for it on the register), so I asked if he could please get a manager. Totally reasonable request. He refused. Ok... So I went to personally find one myself and asked around other staff where one was. They also refused to find me a manager or to price the item. ...I've been a manager at a thrift store, been shopping them all my life, and never had anyone have any issue with pricing an unpriced item. It's even part of job training for supervisors to know how to do that. All I was trying to do was give them money and no one would do their jobs. It was such a surreal experience and I felt like I was in a bad movie. Terrible customer service. It would have been easy to page a manager over their PA system/use a walkie talkie/however staff gets a hold of a manager, have them key in their code, pick a price off like items, and let me give them money, but they wouldn't. The young man even tried to dismiss me and speak to my male friend instead. Lazy and rude staff with bonus sexism. Not a great look. We will not be back.

This place is huge. If you're looking for new outfits then this is the place for you. There are so many aisles filled with tons of clothes. This store is very popular for their attractive pricing. I've been here a few times and I always manage to find something that catches my eye. Plenty of toys for children to check out. The electronics sections have many hot items. Today's visit I saw they had a slim Playstation 2 and a nintendo wii still in their boxes. I even found two sets of donkey konga bongos for gamecube still in their boxes as well. They have a collection of music from vinyls to cds, movies and if you need a new disc player they have plenty in stock!

I used to love coming here. It’s not as personable anymore with the switch to self check out. I actually enjoyed having a actual person check me out. If something didn’t have a barcode to check it out then they could help, now they redo the bar codes only with a certain shifts. The jewelry counter was a pretty fun spot to see and visit and it’s just nothing about this place is the same quality that it use to be. It was more welcoming and personable. 4 months later and it’s a huge change and you can still find some good deals and kids clothing and such but it’s just not the same experience anymore. I wish you didn’t fully go to self check out pretty much. I’m actually bummed from how different you changed the store now. It was better the old way.

Very organized and clean—the best 2nd Ave thrift we’ve been to in the area. Great selection of clothes and a lot of really nice brands!

I'm kind of new into the thrift shopping scene, but I've been in this store twice and I can tell u, with patience and time you can find great deals here, I've bought stuff new with tags here!!! The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because the men's sneaker selection is about 75% trash, and no doubt the nastiest area in the store I think they could at least put some of that footwear in a commercial washer before put them on display, but well, I guess it's part of the thrift shopping experience isn't? overall a decent store where u can save a lot of money.
