Buffet, cafeteria type of place. Nice enough place, friendly staff , sweet ice tea was ok. The chicken was tender and good, the taste was so so. Smashed potato was ok. The gravy was kind of bland, needed more salt and pepper, roux needed a bit longer cook time. Corn was ok. Biscuit was large fluffy tender, but lacking in taste department Now the not so good, green beans kind of tasted like they were cooked in dishwasher water. Edible yes, overall a little bit over priced for what it is.

Great food and great service how ever thoughts on dress of some servers should be addressed by owners too much skin show . Would be nice to see a dress code for the servers such as black pants white shirt so they are not showing too much of themselves . Vegetarian options: Lots of great veggies to eat and fresh Kid-friendliness: Have a lot of choices for children as well Parking: Parking never a problem lots of it . If you haven't found this gem you don't know what your missing. Don't have to dress up either just causal dining .your gonna like it there .

Great place with actual home cooking! This place makes pretty much everything from scratch! Amazing chicken and dumplings! The biscuits are like softball sizes too!

Met family from NC and had an early lunch from their cafeteria style buffet and will have to say the items I chose were excellent! Everything was fresh and perfectly cooked that day. The employees were all very pleasant and friendly. Will stop there again when we have the opportunity.

Went to the buffet and for the first time ever I was served from the buffet. The lady stood behind the steam table and I told her what to put on my plate. Talk about original. I will go back there. It's under new management but the food is still good.

Atmosphere is great. Staff is above and beyond friendly. Restaurant is clean. In the past the food has been delicious.Upfront prices are good. A few months ago, we were in and got what used to be fried chicken off of the buffet. Oven baked chicken is NOT the same as fried chicken and anything that says the chicken is fried, should be removed. Or maybe the oven baked chicken should be removed and the fried chicken added back. The oven baked chicken was incredibly dry and lacked flavor. It was not what we had been accustomed to coming to this restaurant for years when visiting the area. Our last visit in, I ordered chicken off of the menu. If you have had any experience eating ‘real’ chicken in your life, do not order the grilled chicken off of the menu. My dad asked what it was upon delivery…I said, chicken? It was a completely processed glob of plastic resembling a chicken breast. It was awful. We have loved coming to this restaurant for many years and considered it a treat. It has changed hands and I am afraid to say the quality of the food served has changed from what we had been accustomed to. When we inquired about the change with the buffet chicken, we were told the recipe changed when the ownership changed…about a year and a half ago. Two days after we ate there, my husband noticed an additional fee charged to his card. When he called and inquired, he was told it was a processing fee and was the amount they are charged. In most businesses, this fee is added in to the prices of items. Pay with cash and stay away from the chicken.

First time eating here. We read the reviews and figured we'd check it out. Thankful we did. We all loved everything. The buffet was full with a lot of choices...the fat back....well that was a little slice of Heaven...comfort food. The desserts would put some pounds on but yummy 😋. The staff were friendly and down to earth. They interacted with our two year old and that was also very important to us. Just a little country restaurant with a big personality.

Got there right before closing. They didn't rush me and was super nice. Great food and great service. Will return soon.
