Worst Banking experience I have ever had in years of borrowing. lied to. Jerked around on a new construction home loan. 375k supposed to rolled into secondary market on a 30 year fixed rate. Ended up 7 year arm. DO Not USE this bank for home loans. Terrible run from them.

So I was sent here by one of there employees and she stated that they where wonderful people and they can guarantee me a checking account for my business I went to the one in abingdon and they were very nice and we did all the paper work after 15 minutes of doing the documenting everything they said o sorry we can’t open the account very rudely. One watch how you talk to your clients 2 don’t tell someone your bank can open them account and they don’t that’s false information. I’m very upset about this I was really hoping to be part or the new people family but I guess they they don’t care about the community or local businesses the point is there employees should not promise something and not do it

Until COV 19 I paid everything in cash but then I had to get a checking account I really didn't know what to do, so April, at NP bank signed me up for the first time with a checking account in Abingdon and Never! Explained anything to me until I would see that I owed the bank money for purchases I didn't make she was really hateful to me.April at N.P. Bank would just act like I was livying so I just paid them back.NewPeoples bank in Abingdon, took advantage of me and I feel that's why I didn't get my 3rd stimulus check.IRS is li into it

Great bank when it is open, but access when closed is on the poor side of fair. And considering they have no weekend hours, there should at least be an ATM only option outside. The ITM line can be really long. People sit there and chat away for 30 minutes or more. There really should be an ATM only lane. The Allpoint ATMs are not convenient.

They are rude as hell and took my bank card i will make sure they all get shut down. Never will go there again
